I definitely think used golf clubs are the way to go if you don't want to or can't spend on clubs. I recently got some Ping Eye 2 irons, orange dot (I am not tall) irons from a garage sale for $60. I pulled the stiff shafts and added senior flex graphite shafts. I cleaned up the heads on my buffing wheel. Added my favorite Golf Pride grips. I only play 6i-PW in my irons (have a SW and LW I currently love). For those who do not build their own, if you can find the right shaft in a head you like that works for your swing, at highly reduced prices, and you can live with a somewhat older release version, you can then afford more rounds of golf. I have some Ping Zing 2 irons I have used forever. I wanted to try the Eye 2 because I was curious. Happy golfing everyone.
100% would of bought those off camera. Really rare to find those shafts with the og grips too. And the Nike logo was still a bright yellow and not discolored

Guys, I picked up some Razr-X MB’s, same shaft in R, 6-PW, for $20 at my local Play it again about two months ago (I traded a full set of Warriors, a cheap stand bag, and a well-used Fourteen 60deg wedge). Changed out the grips and have been playing with them ever since. They’re weaker lofted than the hollow bodies I’d been using but they feel sooooo good out the middle! They really aren’t that hard to hit, imo, but they are a sweet set-o-irons!
This is a good series. I would love you to build a starter bag and auction it on whatnot. I think I'd have gone a little harder on 3W or Driver and maybe went a little more budget on the putter. You can get a good odyssey for 50$ just about anywhere.
That Callaway Razr X Black is an awesome driver. Unfortunately, mine just broke last week. Would be great to see that one on Whatnot so I can grab it from you.

The question is, the one I got as a replacement checks out in every way but is slightly different, barely at all. The lines in the infinity face almost looks more clean or closer together. It’s “different” but the only way to describe it is that it looks cleaner. Checked the serial number and it starts with a TH. Is it a tour issue or is it a testing head? Looking at the serial numbers

Golf Galaxy around me sucks ass for fittings. Went to get fitted for a putter and they did not have any of the putter fitting systems, just had the guy watch me roll putts on their dumb putting green in the store. I ended up buying a Ping putter than is alright because if I did not buy the club I was going to have to pay for the fitting, which was a fucking joke... PGA Tour Superstore all the way for fitting new clubs. Got my irons fitted there last year and they were very nice and had me on a Foresight GC Quad during the fitting. Very helpful during the entire fitting.
the edwin watts being only $400 is tough to beat, but i dig the golf galaxy bag the most. probably could've splurged on a better driver all things considered...

In my experience pga tour superstore is the best. Their prices were always better and they have a much larger selection of used stuff. Golf galaxy always priced their stuff too close to new in my experience unless it was much older.
i ended up putting together almost new cobra fp irons 4-pw with a gap wedge 200 bucks lazrus wedges 52 56 60 for $127 new from them. cobra radspeed driver xstiff tour model draw bias its an inch shorter new $120 odyssey red ball putter new 129 and a ping anser hybryd 4 used $20 bucks ping g30 3 wood $50 and a ogio silencer bag $100 i that was the very best i could do for being a lefty. i felt so good i dropped 1100 on a caddytrek r2 follow cart. if you think the cart was a ripoff i encourage you to try one GAME CHANGER.
I go for the Golf Galaxy bag but it would be close with the PGA set had you picked the Nike irons. I would take the Ping Isopur over the Scotty all day. Good fun exercise - next time you need to put your money where you mouth is and buy your “preferred” set and shoot a golf challenge with them. How about 6 holes and 3 over gross or better? Have fun

For the last 2 years, I was using a Rogue ST LS Triple Diamond with a stiff shaft. Just got a AI Smoke Max D. Now my cousin is using my Rogue.
