you're the first to ever comment on gear ratio. most car gear ratio is not configure correctly. honda always mated their gear ratio perfectly with their engine. it show the detail honda put into engine efficiency and max power giving from factory.

My price range is 10k so i can get an 05 but it'll have about 100k miles. Which is fine by me. Also looking at 8th gen Civic Si. Pretty much same car except insurance may be cheaper cause it's a honda and not an acura

It's pretty much stock the only upgrades are intake, short throw shifter and nrg steering wheel. I had an 02 type s which my wife has now. The 05-06 sit a little lower have a stiffer suspension, bigger front and rear sway bars the upper strut bar in front is bigger. Wheels went from 205 55 r16 to 215 45 r17. The display is much sportier with white dials and the engine puts out 10 more hp. I will be looking to sell mine in the near future.

Jdm k20a rsx had intake, header, header back, and kpro. 2012 civic si had skunk 2 down pipe and a axle back. Gave me a good run. Start from 30-40 roll ill lose, not by much, but from a 60-70 roll, I would take the win, not by much either.

I also drive wih my hands on almost the same spots on the wheel till i start driving nuts, then i'm at like 10 and 3, maybe moreso 9 and 4. Oh one more thing, and i'm not trying to be all righteous and shit bc i had to break the habit too, but don't rest your hand on the shifter when you drive, it wears at the syncros
On average, start shifting at 3k rpms ever time until you get a good feel for the car and shift at different rpms and eventually you'll get used to the sound and be able to shift without looking at the gauge.
