  • Caution: This video contains graphic acts of christian stupidity.
Christians deny and/or ignore scientific theories and the benefits thereof. Their practice of willful ignorance sometimes catches them off guard, as they aptly demonstrate in this video.
Theory - (n) 1: the analysis of a set of facts in their relation to one another.

Last time I checked gravity is a scientific law, not a theory.

if you believe gravity is only a theory, then jump off 50 story building and see if you live.

@brntobme The Laws of Gravity are part of the Theory of Gravity. Law means you can use math to predict. Theory is the ultimate explanations of scientific facts. One scientist makes a 'hypothesis' and after OTHER 'detached' scientist get the same results and fail to disprove the hypothesis it becomes a Theory. Then sometimes math can be used to explain the laws of the theories. Hope this explains your question.

    It's a what - how - why thing
what (observations) - how (law) - why (theory)

You don't understand a scientific theory do you? A theory is as close as a scientist can call a fact.

When Finch France said that it is officially called the Theory of Gravitation, you said you don't care what it is officially, you said it is just a fact. The point is that both of you agree that gravity is close enough to fact to be considered a fact. I was just clarifying the definition so that you knew that you and Finch France were on the same side.

brntobme, umm where exactly did you check? It has always been a theory, Officially the The Theory of Gravitation/Gravity as both words are interchangeable. See link in the side bar. Also you might want to check the scientific definition of 'theory'. Again link to the definition is in the side bar.

@RebekahC1987 um, the 2 original points of which you speak totally slipped by you didn't they. You might be new to the internet, so you should really look up "pwned". and btw, in your comment it should be "gravity exists" NOT "gravity exist".
Also please explain how something created by humankind, i.e. god, create something that existed long before humans existed?
