It's insane that Drake unknowingly had the foresight to see his own demise. Drake said that Kendrick was becoming this rapper who would give people quick moments and was just trying to be the talk of Twitter. Whereas Drake wanted to release great bodies of work, be consistent, and think of different ways to be better. What Drake didn't know is that the roles would be flipped. Everything Drake wanted to achieve was everything Kendrick became & every way that Kendrick was falling short was everything Drake made a career out of. As we know, Drake is always the talk of rap Twitter and just releases hits with giant conflated albums filled with throwaways. Whereas Kendrick Lamar has always found new ways to push the genre forward and has one of the greatest discographies in Hip Hop. As far as consistency, it has always been Kendrick.
