I love coolers that use the factory backplate (AM4). Definitely helps when swapping out an existing cooler without having to remove the motherboard out of the case 😊
The paper manual shows the fan being installed on the tower that is closest to the RAM slots. It is shown opposite here. I think it makes more sense that it gets mounted on the tower by the ram so that it would suck through that tower better and then blow through second tower towards the rear exhaust fan
These coolers are a good height. It's just a pity their fans are a bit loud. They're also not available in most of the world and they don't have replacement fans on their website, despite their package coming with extra fan clips. I don't know why other companies don't make similar height air coolers. A couple of the latest coolers, by other brands, are even taller than others on the market, at around 165mm tall! I have a big case, but nothing taller than about 145mm would fit into it, so I don't know how they expect most people to be able to use such over-sized monstrosities in their regular sized computer cases.
sure can but you would need the same fan as the stock fan is not standard mounting points and as a result the metal clips are not universal to other fans

shows only 2 RAMs for DDR4. Not suitable for 4 DDRs?
