Flite Test - Vertical Drag Race Combat

- The FT Bloody Wonder!? A cross between the Bloody Micks' FunBat and the Sig Wonder. We made ours with a swappable fuselage powered by a 28-26A 1200kv / 250w motor from HobbyKing.
We built two of these planes and figured we'd have a combat challenge!

I am so happy to have found this channel. Ive watched hundred of your videos. I live in Mississippi where there aren't really any clubs or much of an "RC scene" if you wanna call it that, but seeing you guys doing this and having so much fun with it has inspired me to commute an hour to go to a big club in louisiana that i love. Im Saving up to buy one of your build kits as soon as i can.

I donno bout this electric biz but the Wonder is a lovely old school kit,busy doing a build on a Pattern Bat and another antique wing,those old kits just rock and found a couple of new old stock super tigre .11's it going to be exciting,good to see people still into hobbies and not playing with a cell phone 24/7

I have an HT-FPV quadrotor with these motors and it moves out. The four draw 22A at full throttle= vertical climb with a 1475 gr total weight. I can fly 1 1/2 miles in 6 minutes with a decent reserve. Very nice with 8 or 9 inch props. Sweet motors. Hope you guys find a cush ride with a sponsor. Very nice production values and interesting material.

That was fun...... R/C Combat with relatively cheap planes is a great way to improve your piloting skills and not break the bank. I was going to add, "until you are ready to fly more serious planes" but I changed my mind. Who needs them. These little planes are awesome and the streamers make it easy to compare your flying styles.

@308North: I would recommend the E-flight apprentice. It a litter hard to fly(for a trainer at least) but when you get used to it the apprentice turns out to be a quite capable plane. I also recommend parkzone planes if you want sacrifice performance to get a scale, though I don't recommend their micros for a second plane.

would loooove to see some swappable WWI era monoplanes. A junkers D1, Fokker DVIII, or an Eindecker maybe? Or perhaps a Bristol m1c or Bleriot?

I made this with a 2000 + kv motor from the axn floater jet. Put on the hobbyking wing cam and 200 mw 5.8ghz tx. WOW.

WOOT NEW FLIGHT TEST!!! I love love love you guys, and I was wondering if you could do a review of the hobbyking AXN floater jet and possible an AXN vs. Bixler video. I want to BUY my first rc plane, I like the design of them both (no broken props) and I like the price. I have made my own planes, some work some don't, but im getting tired of building, I love building them, but I would rather have something to JUST Fly

What battery and prop you use?
My quad with the the same motor with 4S 1800 with 8x4.5 does 60mph straight up and 74mph sideways, I think it would of smoked the vertical test, and had a chance at the combat tests too
I run 4S-1800 with NTM-2826-1200kv, 8x4.5APC, KK2 with RC911 FW, have fun.

Yeah, the thing with the electrical components could be a lot more clear. I always thought they used a 3 cell. But now that I want to build one myself, I found out they used 4 cells. Since that looked like a simple Turnigy 1300 mAh, I´m gonna take a guess that it is 20c discharge rate. On the FT Bloody Wonder V2 they used 2200 mAh batteries. For the prop they went with the suggested 8x4. At least on the build vid they could say:"That is the suggested stuff, but it can handle other stuff, too."
