Love the steering gator....I almost fell off my couch laughing when I seen those little arms steering
Eeeee
Me too! It would be too tempting to do that for any of the open cockpit planes.
It's great seeing you guys having so much fun. And it's fun for us too! Great job and congrats on 400 episodes!
"brother" count: 17
"awsome" count: 39
Awesome brothers!
Congrats on 400 and what a great show this has become.
Thanks! Appreciate that :)
I showed my son the 100" cruiser. "Dad that is just like our summer bomber idea!" He loved the ribbons as well.
FliteTest where did you get the camera on the swedish plane and the vr goggles?
crackin' tellus fatskark.com
thanks!
200+200=400 AWESOME episodes congrats David, josh s,Josh b, chad and alex
Don't forget Eric! They didn't try to hit him this time, sadly...
nowthatsurban oops. I knew I would forget to mention someome.lol. sorry eric. They just need to get the poor guy a target to wear.lol
Cool.
I watch almost everyone of these with my six year old daughter and we don't even have any RC planes or copters yet. Congratulations on your 400th.
Congrats on your 400th episode!
SON UNOS GENIOS .
LES MANDO UN GRAN SALUDO.
You guys make me want to get back into RC. Stop! I can't afford it!
It's a lot more affordable than you'd think! Especially if you get into building with raw materials and our free plans! :)
I may have to look into that then... I fly a Cessna 172 and post the flights on CZcams, and paying for that fuel can get a bit expensive. If it's fairly affordable though, I may hop back into it again!
MrAviation101 Flying RC is of course way way less expensive than real planes! It is totally affordable and enjoyable! I started flying RC this June and just can't stop it. Thank you @Flitetest for the inspiration.
FliteTest Not in New Zealand its not. Its ridiculously expensive. Freight is a nightmare, and anything already in the country is uber inflated in price .

HBZ5300 $59.99 I've seen one of these fly. Make sure you check your elevator before flight. It's a two channel, but these newer versions are much better than the old ones.
5 years later.... I’ve been learning to fly with SAFE. My first real lesson, the instructor made me fly without SAFE, and I didn’t do so well. You wouldn’t believe how helpful it is just to watch the fpv while that little gators hands on the stick actually mirror your right stick movements. Wow! Big help! Thanks!
Please use that in future videos when you can.
btw,...You just shipped out a Legacy kit my way yesterday. Can’t wait to get my first FT plane in the air.....already nervous!
You've finally proven it...size DOES matter!
My favorite episode yet.
Great video gentlemen !!! I am a Brit living/working in the Netherlands and one of my favourite groups of guys in this hobby are you folks....Your enthusiasm is infectious and your personal interaction with each other is fresh and authentic...thank you for inviting us into your world....great to see and keep up the good work....oh and yes I have bought some Flitetest goodies to support you ! :-) The Viggen and some other bits and pieces... :-) Live long and prosper....Ray
possibly the BEST fpv and onboard shots I have ever seen. the planes look awesome in 200%. you guys outdid yourselves on this video. And I just recently started building with DTFB because of your videos! So a big thanx from me. Oh, the steering FPV with control stick was epic.
josh and Company, WOW! your video builds are really outstanding. You have the skills of a craftman, steady and right on the money. You make it look so easy but I know from building some of your models that it takes skill. Thank you for the great efforts you put in your craft. Manny from Puerto Rico
Great work guys. Don't fool yourselves, the flitetest crew is the reason there is a 400th episode! Your originality, enthusiasm, and dedication made you a favorite!
How could anyone thumbs down this video??? Very cool - pushing the envelope of design. Sounds like some of your happy accidents took place, too. Pretty stable. Good graphics on planes. And, the steering gator was the coup de gras. Good work, gentlemen.
You guys do great things for the hobby with this channel! You inspired me to venture into scratch building my very first plane with my son. Keep up the good work, and here's to another 400 episodes!
that gator control stick is just epic!
it only does yaw but sure is better than just empty space in front of the camera
Congrats on the 400th. The grin factor for this episode is off the charts. Awesome.
I cant believe that its the 400th episode. I have been following you guys all the way. I just wanna thank you guys for doing what you do and attracting new people to the hobby. You guys are awesome.
I had the biggest grin during this whole video. :) You guys keep doing what you're doing. So much inspiration for the hobby!
David I love the FPV setup. The gator hands controlling the stick. LOVE IT!
That is just the coolest thing I have seen in a long time. I love you guys!!!
3:40 - I think that's the closest I've ever heard to Josh swearing. LOL. I think, technically, he said, "Oh, gee!"
Congrats to everyone at FliteTest on your 400th episode. I am looking forward to the next 400.
Can't wait for humongous spit plans. Looks like a good low wing trainer too.
Truly an EPIC 400th show! Congratulations to you guys! You took a dream and made it fly!!!!
I been watching you guys for a long long time now and always wondered if you guys would cover larger planes as ive always wondered how they were to fly , thank you for curing my curiosity , CONGRATS ON 400TH EPISODE !!! you have inspired me to up scale a few planes I have lying around , cheers guys , keep it up !!!
I never really even thought about the idea to get into flying RC planes until literally like 2 days ago one of your videos popped up in my suggested videos and now I've watched probably about 100 of your videos and I'm making my way through your beginner tutorial videos! I can't wait to finally get my first plane and start flying!
Congrats on 400. Really cool planes. Cant wait to see more big planes like this.
Congratulations on your 400th video! So glad I found you guys as my son and I are just getting into RC flying. I'm learning a ton and it's great to see you having so much fun. My son and I scratch built our first 'sparrow' this past weekend. Thanks a ton!
Great 400th video! Continue expanding people's knowledge of the RC hobby and keep making awesome videos! We wish you all the best Flite Test from here in Oregon!
Been watching your videos for over a year now, and I must say that it has been entertaining and educational! This one was as you said many times "AWESOME", Loved every second of it. It makes perfect sense for the 200% planes to fly smoother and better all around. I know that you all understand that larger models fly more like the real thing. I believe that you have hit the sweet-point for Dollar Tree foamies. If you reduce the drag a little bit, I think you will be greatly surprised with the increase of performance. I am 70 years old and have COPD. I am pretty much shut in and on oxygen full time now (Mistakes of my younger days!). But Josh, David, and the other Josh (And your crew.) make me want to get outside and fly again. Thanks for the enjoyable shows, and the many laughs you guys have given me. Rock On, I love it !!!
Totally Wicked! Congratulations on the 400th. Just so ya know, you guys kept me company during chemo and a stem cell transplant (used my own!) and when I was able I started building during those long nights... all peace and good my brothers,
Not gonna lie, was hoping you would do a mid-air demo-derby with them. Gotta get rid of em eventually, might as well go out in style!
I have flown RC for over 40 years and have never intentionally crashed an airplane. I would not consider it. Too much respect
Made one a few weeks ago. Flys soooo good. I am using a ntm 50-60 270 kv motor. Can go vertical!
Congratulations on 400 videos!!! Your monster planes really move like full scale planes with the exception of how quick they took off. When they come in to land, they truly look full scale. Wow!
Guys, After having some sad news, watching this video it was great to see you guys having so much fun, it really cheered me up. Thanks for the great entertainment, not only to you, but all involved. Thanks for sharing the fun.
Just one more positive comment from your many fans!
Kind Regards
Anton - A Big Fan.
Thanks for watching Anton! We appreciate your support.
Congrats guys! I look forward to each and every episode you all do! This one was great and looked like so much fun. Hope to see you all in the future at an RC event soon!!!
I would really love to see a c-130 Hercules and\or a c-17 global master which is one of my favorites! you guys inspire me and I want to be able to do what you guys do!
Congratulations FliteTest!!! We all love you! Those two planes were awesome! It was really cool how they seemed to jump from the ground on take off and then they behaved so well in the air. Awesome Awesome builds!!!
Great episode - quite literally! Cannot wait for the building tips on these beefy monsters!
Awesome episode guys. Congrats. Absolutely love, love, love the bigger planes. Please do more big ones. I would like to see a foam board version of the Classic Ugly Stick! Why not push the limits and see just how big you could possibly build an Ugly Stick? That would be epic! I have to admit, I was really bummed when you guys started doing fewer reviews and more foamie builds, but I was wrong. These things are awesome and they are what the hobby is all about. Keep up the great work brothers. God Bless. PS. I'm in the Cleveland area so if you need someone to come down and give you some moral support I'd be happy to :)
New to your vids and catching up. Way to go on 400. Nice place to fly too....right out your backdoor it seems. Did you buy property out there just to fly?
This is Chad's (the founder and backer of Flitetest) property afaik. However they now have a new office space with a backyard for smaller air planes and multi-rotors.
This is where the older show used to be based usually however a lot of the new stuff is in the new offices.
seraph2099 Actually, I think that's Fury's place. I think Chad Kapper's is the place with that dirt oval track and big radio tower in the backyard.
Congrats on the 400th episode! Those planes are HOOOOGE! Like the Viggen pin that David was wearing. Need more video of those planes with their normal scale counterparts in the air!
Congratulations on your 400th video . This show is the best . I love to watch you guys on youtube . Keep up the good work . the planes came out incredibly awesome !!!!!!!!
Congrats on 400 episodes! Over the last couple of months I've become a big fan and am itching to get flying. First planes are built just waiting for Northern Canadian weather to be more agreeable :)
Do a 400% quadcopter!!! It would be awesome!!!
... a manned quadcopter that is. :D
For the 500th video can you make a 500% guinea pig if u could I would go nuts
+Ryan Davenport and a 500% ft pun jet and than drop the 500% ft pun jet from the 500% Guinea pig
MINDBLOWN

*WELL* FT.... Are you???
Coincidentally I was watching your pilot episode when the alert came in that said you just uploaded your 400th, congratulations guys looking forward to the build videos as well as 400 more.
The little gator arms cracked me up
Love your work. You guys do a tremendous job and are inspiration to us all!
I know I'm late but, great vid guys! Yur like a couple of kids! It's great! Wonderful channel, I subscribed a while ago but, have been away. You guys are what keeps the hobby alive, and thank you for that. I've got a 12 year-old niece and we went to the local hobby shop and picked up a Nano QX, my first "flier" and she was so psyched! I've been into model R/C cars for years, gotta HPI touring and a nitro Savage. Along with my first model R/C, a Team Associated stadium truck I built when I was 15. I hope to pass down the hobby to her, and I've got her watching your vids so I know I've planted a seed! Thanks again guys!!
These videos are so amazing! You guys have come so far since your first video. You have so much fun with the hobby and have inspired me to fly even more! If there would be any youtubers I could fly with, the FliteTest guys would be the ones. Keep making videos and keep flying!!!
That was so so so so great! So much fun. Congratulations guys!
whenever David's in the episode you know it's gonna be a crazy one

congratulations on the 400, thank you to the whole team for everything that you have done for the hobby and to keep us entertained. Keep 'em coming!
congrats on 400 videos! Neat to see these foam planes fly at these larger sizes. was thinking of making a larger blender, because bigger=easier to see
Congratulations! Great episode 400. The FPV gator shots were cool.
you guys are solely responsible for my own start in FPV and multi rotors. I was in love with helicopters originally and started out flying those - but you guys cemented my love in planes and now my favorite - the tricopter and vtail.
Thank you so much for all your hard work guys. I hope someday I can contribute even an ounce of what you guys have done for the hobby.
I like the bigger planes and you guys obviously had a blast. Please do more big planes!
Thanks for all the great episodes. They keep getting better.
PERFECT view from gators eyes!! Very cool. Really looks like the gator is flying!
That was really cool. So fun seeing what y'all come up with to entertain us as well as yourselves. Your genuine love for what you're doing comes through loud and clear. Keep up the great work. =)
What type of foam are you using?
Congrats on 400! I love how you guys laugh like little kids when you fly! Great promotion for the hobby for sure!
Josh Bixler you have the best laugh! Everyone can tell you're having fun.
i definitely want to build one of my own they look so fun
Happy 400th guys. Great episode.
This is one of my favorite episodes !! you guys had a lot of fun and I'm sure David will have some great memories to take back with him :)
Nice to ser Alex Zevada coming along nicely as multirotor chase cam operator. I'd hate to loose the chase cam perspective in the episodes when David goes back home. He invented something truly unique there. Just think what a chase camera like that could do in sports!
Just awesome guys!!! You guys are very positive for the hobby...
Drinking game: take a shot every time one of them says the word "awesome"
Good luck soldier
Deserves a Feature on youtube! 400TH in Style!
Do I detect a Swedish motif on the Spitfire??? Really looks good, and that says a lot coming from a Norwegian..LOL!!
This was EPIC! As I would expect obviously :D Keep them coming guys, you'll soon be at your 500th episode!
Nice, congratulations on 400.
looks like you were having fun, awesome build
400 EPISODES!!!!???? Whoa!! I've got some catching up to do. Looking for ward to the next 400. 1000 episodes someday........!!??? You are doing amazing work for the hobby.
That cockpit view is insane! Awesome
The moving flight stick following ailerons was great!
You guys do a great job really enjoy your videos as for big planes and foam board, (YES) helps to keep the cost down & more home built planes. Looking forward to building one of those from the video. Thanks for sharing
Seriously the coolest episode yet! Great job guys! This is truly awesome! Congrats on the 400th
Awesome, love the hands on stick by the croc on Davids plane, sweet!

I like the idea of a c-130
Best channel on CZcams. Your videos always cheer me up and inspire me! I hope to make it to FliteFest one of these years!
Happy 400th. Would have been epic to see Josh Scott fly one since he started with the show, only seems right. I really enjoyed this episode. Huge dollar tree foam and graphics, too cool.
Again, congratulations on number 400 and reall hope for another 400.
Peace Brothers.

I'm looking forward to the 800th episode.
Start stocking up foam now.
Would be cool to see the "Viggen" in 200% size with 1 or 2,3 or 4 motors!!!
Congratz with 400 videos!
Congratulations Guys , and thank you for all the entertainment and knowledge you provide the R/C community. CHEERS !
