How to Order Coffee
Hi, I’m Rob. Today, I’m at my favorite coffee shop. I love starting my day with a good cup of coffee. The smell of fresh coffee fills the air, and the friendly barista always greets me with a smile.
There are many types of coffee drinks to choose from. If you like strong coffee, you might order an espresso. If you like milk in your coffee, you can try a latte, cappuccino, or a macchiato. If you like chocolate, you might like a mocha.
I walk in and see Anna, the barista, behind the counter. “Good morning, Rob!” she says with a cheerful wave. “What can I get for you today?”
“Good morning, Anna,” I reply. “I think I’ll have a medium cappuccino today.”
“Would you like it hot or iced?” she asks.
“Hot, please,” I answer and smile.
Anna asks if I want any extra flavor, like vanilla or caramel. I decide to keep it simple and say, "No, thank you. Just a plain cappuccino today."
Anna starts making my cappuccino using the espresso machine.
While waiting, I notice the small details that make this place special. The sugar packets are neatly arranged by the counter. The straws and coffee stoppers are easy to reach. The soft background music is nice.
After a few minutes, my cappuccino is ready. Anna hands me my cappuccino with a warm smile. “Here you go, Rob. Enjoy your coffee.”
“Thanks, Anna,” I reply. I take my cappuccino and smell its rich aroma. I find my usual seat by the window. From here, I can watch people outside while I enjoy my coffee.
I take a sip, and the familiar taste makes me smile. It’s perfect, just the way I like it. Sitting here, with my cappuccino in hand and the sounds of the coffee shop around me, I feel ready to start the day.
