    This book was a great resource for ideas, practical advice czcams.com/users/postUgkx-b91_bYU48sOwHX-XC49tRRXRxcnOmZm and pro tips I purchased the plans for the 10'x16' colonial and used them for the basics and made my own modifications. I built my shed for storage and lawn equipment, but decided to sheath and side it in case I ever wanted to add insulation and turn it into a shop or bunkhouse. I poured over this book all winter while I planned and found it to be the all-around best shed book out there.

      I could be wrong but it looks like 100w panel. They install DIY. Just research typical RV or solar projects and you’ll find lots of diagrams. You start by making a list of all the things you want to run. Then their amps and watts. And then pick your system based on that and how long you want it to run.

      Volkswagenplanet it’s probably enough for his TV and occasional use of micro. It’s 12v I run a cabin with 1200w and eight batteries at 24v. It depends on what you calculate for your dream usage.

      @blairbushproject Před 5 lety +1

      Volkswagenplanet well AC and appliances you have to start at 48v study resources. You would need panels plural. And probably the sizing would depend on your sun calculations hours per day and amps per hour. And mounting angles. How much sun would they have access to. So you would either be grid tied. Which would mean you would use any electricity you wanted. But your panels would feed back into the grid with island protection of course haha. But one panel is probably a TV for a few hours like he has. Probably the occasional microwave. Maybe his laptop phone. If his battery is lithium.

    could u please if its not too much trouble tell us a little about how much the bathroom set up cost as far as water heater and if u connected to electric and water on grid and did u do most of the work urself....i would have done a few things different but what u did was perfect i would want to add a loft and found a place in wv where im from where i can get a 10x20 loft type cabin for like 4000k but i need to connect electric and water and buy a few fixtures plus insulation dry wall etc...this is the time i wish i was so much more handy to save 1000;s on the finishes...also i saw the solar but could u tell me what breaker box amp/watt would suffice for the basics 4 wall sockets microwave, tv, mini refrig laptop etc basic things like that couple of light fixtures (3)? thank you any info will help

      Really didn’t break down what each area cost. But I’d guess 1000 on bathroom. Water heater electric just enough to take about 5 minute shower. The solar has been upgraded but does not operate entire unit. Just lights and chargers. I sleep in adjacent RV so bedroom wasn’t necessary for my use.

    Awesome to have real plumbing …but my definition of everything, includes a bed and more of a kitchen. 🤷🏿

    Great for warmer climates where temperatures don't drop into much below 32°. States like upper northeast or Minnesota for example need 2×6 studs to replace the 2×4 ones!

      @@shawn-xe8vp never thought that was possible because many builders in cold weather states ask for 2×6!
      What did you use for insulation because I'm interested in building a large shed too?

      I built a shed with these plans from Ryan [ Details Here?> *WoodBlueprints. Com* ] . The instructions were clear and easy to implement. Even a novice can be able to build fast using this plan. I'm happy I bought the plan. It also saved me much cost.
