Hangar 9 Pitts S2B - Maiden flight and a happy pilot!! Never stop the RC

- So i came out great with this maiden flight. During the first take off she leaned to the left and i had to give her a lot of right trim on the aileron. But after reading forum i found out that this is due to shipping all over the world. The body will twist and turn a bit. The CG on this setup landed on 145mm. The pitts has a wide range. The batteries was mounted under the tank. After the first flight we went over the plane to check for loose screws. I forgot to add lock tite on the alu bracket for the landing gear. but fixed before next flight. I love this bird and even if she is big she lands easy with low speed but giv a bit elevator after touch down. That will prevent a nose dive.

mine has stay wires installed and it makes a lot of wind noise witch sounds cool.
I wonder why Hangar9 didn't add these to the ARF kit. The original one has them😳
Feels good doesn't it? I just maidened a 65 inch new build of a Cessna 150. Got a.61 2 stroke right now, maybe a 4 stroke later on if I can get one for a good price. She needed about 5 clicks left aileron and she's straight!
This one will get a Saito 61GF twin in july😊
What size prop did you use?

No they did not come with this kit. But i think i can add them later.. 😊
