I have a 2000 US gallon pond in my basement (Ontario, Canada) used to overwinter my koi that I've been using for about 7 years. As you noted humidity can be an issue however to avoid any problems I installed a ventilation system that expels the moist air directly outside and also have a dehumidifier running directly to a floor drain. So far no issues with humidity. So glad the bowing of your tank didn't cause an actual blowout.

Hi Adam, firstly, i have only just discovered you! But really glad I did and enjoying watching, particularly the neglected pond ones! My question is, you seem to have a lot of fish in each pond, i have read, so many fish for so much surface area, do you adhere to anything like this? My pond is a lot smaller than yours, only 500gl and i have 4 koi and 5 goldfish that i used to mature the pond, and finished up keeping them, but im wondering if i can get more koi, could you advise? Quick question.. i needed to put one of my koi in a hospital tub, i do not have a filter and even if i had one, it wouldn't be cycled. Will she be ok of i do water changes everyday and make sure to add safe to help w chlorine, ammonia and nitrite? Ty
yeah it would work doing it like that although i find in most cases keeping the fish in a separate tank can cause unnecessary stress. you could also do water changes by removing water from the pond to refill the tank its in this would be better as the water wouldn't have the chlorine issue and temperature issues.
You didn't show anything didn't show moving fish nothing huh.and you filled the 2 tanks up about 25%be for you started pumping the old tank water into them .
I wouldn’t have been able to sleep knowing that pond was bowing out like that 😂

Carbon fibre the way to go if you rebuild it do it your self
