All of them were heart touching ❤
All of the above
Please do top 20 times my little pony friendship is magic and Equestria girls tackled serious issues
Penny’s room is like kaley’s room in 8 simple rules
It's a wonderful show
Sheldon being upset that nobody came to his party, and worrying that he'll always be alone, only for it to show his future friends and wife as children is really heartwarming, and resonates with anyone who's struggled with making connections, and that you won't always feel isolated.
Agreed. That part was sad, but I also loved seeing his friends as children.
I agree
The montage of Sheldon’s future friends as their younger selves ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes
It's so cute 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Sheldon restoring Mary's faith was a pretty big one, not only did he go against his core beliefs as an atheist, but he uncharacteristically handled it with delicacy.
That was one of my favorite moments ever
I cried on that one.
Honestly, I don't feel it really went against his beliefs. More that his and his mother's beliefs are more alike that either of them thought. The universe is a crazy mess of chaos that, for one reason or another, fits together perfectly like the ultimate puzzle and if one piece goes missing, it would be completely undone.
Fr he’s a true hero
That conversation between Sheldon and Mary about faith hits hard
One of the reasons I love this show is because it handles all of these serious problems well.
I'll really miss this show when it wraps up in a few months, but I'm really anticipating the Mandy and Georgie spin off series. Hopefully the rest of the Cooper clan will eventually make cameos.
Me too
6:26 I totally agree when the narrator says that we can see our family dynamics in at least one episode. I can see it in more than one.
Missy having her period reminded me of my 1st one.
Even though I don’t live in a tornado zone I find the episodes with the tornadoes scary to say the least
Same here. Tornadoes are my all time biggest fear because they’re such ruthless monsters that can kill and/or destroy without hesitation and the season 6 finale is solid proof. I live in Colorado Springs and most people don’t even know that half of Colorado actually is in Tornado Alley, but that’s probably because we’re known for the most avalanche deaths every year due to our ski resorts. The eastern half of Colorado is a lot of flatlands and prairies like Kansas and we can get some really severe tornadoes. Colorado Springs, despite being at the foot of the mountains, butts up right against Tornado Alley and we can get tornadoes outside or even inside the city, but they’re usually very brief. Last one to touch down inside the city was summer 2023 in the northern part of town (one of our several unincorporated communities) and lasted only a few minutes
Several years ago I was visiting my aunt that used to live in Oklahoma. In was the relief that none of the tornadoes got near where she lived.
My brother is really academic smart, Sheldon
My other brother is business smart Georgie
I guess I’m just missy 😂
Mary's crisis of faith and Sheldon' defense of her to her church always jumps out at me. But the argument they have over his mental health is also memorable.
8:20 it is so sad that Dr Sturgis wanted to be a part of noble prize experience and yet Sheldon didn't than him in his noble prize speech.
Thank for this list, MsMojo. I also it tackles the issue of the struggles that comes with having a gifted child.
Really wow 😦
Young Leonard is so adorable! His eyebrows are just like adult Leonard’s.
It was very sad that Sheldon felt isolated because no one turned up to his nobel prize party😢. It were very hard for Mary and George when they found out that Mary had miscarried leaving Mary and George disappointed😭. Paige handling her parents divorce leaving her to a rebellious phase.
Paige stinks. I get that she's in a terrible situation but that's no excuse for what she's done
Hi Christopher, I think Paige said it right when she said "What good is being smart if you are all alone". True, what good is anything if you are all alone, specially a young person.
@@margotfitsch1443 Sheldon actually prefers being alone and I stand with him. He explained it well at the beginning of the 2nd episode ever (the first non-Pilot episode).
I’m not fond of Paige either, she is a pretty passive aggressive person..
My mom was pregnant many times but she kept having miscarriages so I only have 1 older brother /1 sibling I am glad I’m here
12:52 hit so hard. My uncle died when i was 8 and ever since then I've developed anxiety, depression, attachment issues, even issues with my dad who was also grieving over him. I used to go to his grave and beg for him to come back and make things normal again. Obviously, he never came back but i'd wish that things had stayed the same as they did before he died.
Sorry but when Missy was eat dirt, I was cheering her on and yelling Go Missy.
Yeah, I rarely cheer he on, but that time... I made an exception because the guy was trying to severely injure her, or maybe he even wanted to kill her... all because he hated her gender.
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl Wrong because she was playing sports and this post to ta place in the 70s and 80"s they didn't really let girls play I them why she try out he tells her hell no until her Grandma step in n tell the guy off she even though there was a girl team he tell no
@@peteryanes3413 no, this takes place in the 1990's
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl1880s in the earlier in the show 1990s now
@@Thatkidclapper14 only season 1 takes place in the 1980's
I can relate to no one coming to Sheldon’s party. From the age of 10 after I started having seizures no one ever turned up to my birthdays & I was never invited to any. It wasn’t till I left school and went to college that anyone invited my to their birthday. But still I can count on 1 hand the birthday parties I have been invited since I left school.
The first time we met Dale, I didn't like him.
But, he's great and I couldn't imagine the show without him.
Fr, I thought he was such an asshole but he turned out to be the missing piece of the show
I don't realized until now that we learned so many things and issues unnoticed! Thanks for this video! Generally they chose something more superficial but popular topic but you chose insightful one! Make more videos like this (may be from Friends).
Thanks from India!
The Big Bang theory and young Sheldon are 2 of the greatest shows ever just wished when I was growing up I had friend like Sheldon and I experienced his heart when after buying lots things for my birthday no one turned up so I know how he felt
That cool nice u bring his friend not leaving him
Missy's experience on her baseball team mirrors Penny Proud's experience on her football team in The Proud Family. Someone on the Young Sheldon team must have seen that episode which gave them the idea on how to deal with prejudice. Yes, sports like baseball and football did start out with just men playing, but as time went on and the eras of life changed, more and more women and girls began playing sports as well, starting with the All Girls Professional Baseball League that ran between 1944 and 1956, as WW2 threatened to end Major League Baseball in 1943. The MLB and other baseball leagues worldwide would likely not exist today if not for the AGPBL back then.
I not only see my family in this show... but my Papa (Dad)... he was a lot like George... and in many ways George is a better man than my father. I see myself in Missi a lot... but also in Sheldon... but... I mostly see myself in Paige. I'm no where near as smart as Sheldon and Paige, but I've had similar struggles... loneliness and things like that. I had trouble after my parents split, even though I was 17.
This show handles grief really well... and knowing George's fate... I hate it... I don't want him to die... it'll be like seeing my Papa die all over again...
6:03 I hate Mary because she thinks she’s the only one who makes the decisions.
Also missy who torments naive Shelton.
I agree. Mary thinks she’s always right about everything and has to be in charge of everything and when she doesn’t get her way, she takes it out on everyone.
@@TCWRebelsResistanceWords thank you
@@jaygee6738 I actually had a coworker like that once. She acted like she was better than everyone else because she was Christian and if you didn’t believe in the same stuff she did, she would retort back by saying you and your entire family were going to burn in hell. When my beloved grandmother died and I off-handedly mentioned that while she did believe in God but also believed in evolution, just like me, the coworker said my grandmother is in hell for believing that. I was so mad I wanted to beat the living shit out of her. Unfortunately my former boss didn’t help at all because, while she was religious and also believed in evolution as well, she was friends with the coworker and didn’t want to “ruffle any feathers.” The coworker also believed she was right about anything and everything just because she heard it on the news and when I tried to present her evidence to the contrary, especially examples among my family and friends, she would roll her eyes and call me a liar and say my parents should have raised me better
Being a child of divorce 😢 I understand how Paige feels. Many times I will be in my moms time and there will still be a week untill I am able to see my dad and that gets my upset because I love my dad and I hate going twice weeks without my dad. Yet during my dad’s time because of his work schedule I see my mom practically everyday. I miss the days when we could all hang hour together and have fun. I miss the days when I didn’t have to wait 2 weeks just to see my dad. It gets really upsetting and I NEED my friends to keep me focused on things that keep me happy.
11:32 “What good is being smart if you’re all alone?”
That line made me fear greatly for Paige going forward, as it seemed to suggest her mental health spiralling & potentially heading towards suicide - & although it would be a tough subject to breach, I would ultimately hope Paige gets the support she needs & her parents get their act together & see how their actions have affected Paige & stop denying the part they played (especially Paige’s mother)
It's definitely none other than puberty. Happy friday afternoon, Phoebe. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
The sad part is I believe the series finale will end with George Sr s death
EAT DIRT!... EAT IT!!?
i really enjoyed this video 😊
Thanks for watching!
I know this video is all ab out the serious issues in Young Sheldon, but I cannot help but point out how sad it is that it takes Georgie an hour to make his bed
Love the background music
I love the fact that there are only 10 actually SERIOUS issues and the person who made this video even admitted it. Puberty is something that happens to everyone, so it isn't a serious issue. Just because Sheldon encountered a pimple, just because Missy got her first period, just because something about puberty happens doesn't mean that it's serious. Sure, it's a big step in life, but that also doesn't make it serious.
Good point
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl Thanks:)
Nice Video 😃
The child of divorce was the most accurate and I can speak from experience
One issue that they missed is favoritism. Missy is constantly being neglected for Sheldon
Missy taking care of business on the baseball field. the little brad through a baseball at her head. He had what she did to him coming.
Yup. I rarely condone Missy's actions, but that time, I was on her side. That guy was trying to severely injure her, or maybe he was even hoping to kill her, just because she was a girl. He deserved whatever he got.
Go Missy!!!
Hell yeah I was like good job girl
That's what makes this show so good. Sure, it's got comedy, but it also tackles serious issues that everyone can relate to.
4:55 Correct me if I'm wrong... Brenda Sparks is supposed to be a woman, right? If she is, why did the writers make her sexist against women and girls?
Teen Parenthood isn't exactly something most families deal with, though.
Because, that's what most women did. Just like Brenda Sparks
@@raizahasmath5580 wait, what? Women oppressed other women? And girls? What? Why would they oppress themselves?
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl They were not oppressing on purpose. It was just "abiding by the societal rules" for them
@@raizahasmath5580 that's just stupid. Why would you obey "Societal rules" that make no sense, or worse yet, ones that oppress you? There was no government-mandated law that said that girls can't play baseball, so it's just idiotic for anyone to act like that was a rule, even more idiotic if you're one of the people being oppressed by it
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl When were you even born?!
Remember years ago when I was in Oklahoma visiting my aunt. There was a bunch of tornadoes thankfully do not get close to my aunt's house.
I watched all of the nut Sheldon 4 trimester and just a few hours ago realized those are his further friends 😂
Honestly the whole teen pregnancy thing with Georgie and Mandy completely took away from the original storyline of The Big Bang Theory
I think it was because they realized they were running out of Sheldon. That’s why the show was cancelled because the story line was about to overlap with BBT. We are getting a Georgie and Mandy spin-off. Which I assume will pick up where young sheldon will end.
@@nayelyguzman8863 but they weren't running out of Sheldon ideas. The database storyline, the Germany storyline, all the episodes with him Sturgis and Linkletter together, the episode where he tutors Billy, etc.
Although I felt the show had already been going downhill by the time this happened, the pregnancy was when it completely jumped the shark for me. Sheldon is still awesome but he's basically the only reason I am still watching the newer episodes. But with all this other stuff going on, all he can do is make the show watchable, instead of awesome like it used to be
@@nayelyguzman8863Was it confirmed we are getting Mandy and Georgie spin off?
@@LittleMermaid1 Emily Osment and Montana Jordan who plays Mandy and Georgie posted on their Instagram that it’s true.
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl it’s not that there weren’t ideas. But that the Timeline in which Sheldon graduated from East Texas Tech and moved to California was getting closer and closer. Once that happens the show switches from Young Sheldon to Big Bang. Sure they could crossover into the gang but that would come at a cost. For one the integrity of how we know those events to have happened would likely change. Young Sheldon is narrated by Sheldon after he develops emotionally and starts a family and is reminiscing on his childhood. You can often hear him talking about realization and changing his opinion on his family especially his father. That bit of information would give the show a different feeling.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of Sheldon in big bang until the later seasons once he had developed emotionally. I would watch it on and off throughout its run never really following it. I fancied Young Sheldon much better because every storyline didn’t always have Sheldon in it. Which seems odd considering the shows are centered around him but, he can be such an intense character at times that the little breaks feel needed at least for me. I also think that they made the switch to Mandy and Georgie to test the idea of the spin-off. The show was stilling bringing in massive viewership.
I only saw an actual tornado once when I was in elementary school. The tornado stop before I reach the park that was in front of the house.
I thought something was going happen to Paige when she went missing - explaining why she's never mentioned in TBBT.
I think they handled going through puberty especially with Missy.
You forgot the part where missy tries to warm but the boys say they don’t play with girls.
Yeah the build up for George's death is already filling me with dread. I'm gonna cry so hard when he's finally gone..
Although its only minor I think showing how the worlds view changed over the early 1990's with homosexual relationships is quite interesting as seen in season 7 when Missy tells George Sr her boyfriend is gay so she wouldn't get in trouble and George's and Taylor's reaction afterward perfectly captures that
Growing up i saw many school mates like Paige.😢
The coopers always have bad luck but then good luck comes a round
Please do one for miraculous. Times it tackled serious issues
miraclous ladybug?
@@NathanTeklay-sk2xq yes
What about the smoking incident in the back half of season 6?
the show never made ones feel seen, but it dealt with heavy topics, and most of the time they were fixed in the end
6:20 When has it ever been established, in either series, that Connie has other children? I don't remember Sheldon's mother ever mentioning brothers or sisters, or anybody mentioning the kids having aunts and uncles.
Season 1 episode 8
That george crash veronica was being abause by her mother boyfriend and george sr save her by stand up to mother boyfriend
I saw them making fun of men’s height a number of times, Sheldon’s brother gets rejected and it’s funny, missy when gets rejected hits the guy with a ball and it’s funny. I don’t understand how did they address sexism xD
They addressed sexism in season 3 episode 7, not just boys hating girls but also girls hating girls. But you're absolutely right. There have been many instances of of girls bullying boys or being violent against boys and the only punishments we ever saw were Missy being ejected from the game (when she was merely fighting back and the boy was the one who started it) and Mary getting fired (as a punishment for Missy hitting a boy in Sunday school, though I fail to see how anyone could blame Mary for that)
🙏🙌💔
Big bang theroy vs Young sheldon video, please
Infidelity? Religious trauma and rejection?
😅😅😅😅
Funny that the original series sexist as hell and he lived in Texas. One misogynistic state. So. This isn't canon
