The Lakers will be one of the most active teams in the trade market as their season just keeps getting worse. But underneath all of this is the threat that LeBron James could leave to join his son next year if things don’t get better. They might panic into a bad move and this video explains what that could look like. - Sport
Bro imagine if bronny got drafted to the warriors
Right
been hoping for this!
We need to package Saric and Moody to a contender that NEEDS depth so we can get draft capital in this upcoming draft
They can’t they got no pick
Lebrons last year with steph and bronny would be soo fire
Lakers are 100% making it easy for LeBron to leave to play with Bronny 😂
?
That's why they should just trade him for a young player and a pick. If you want him back, just use the pick to choose Bronny.
@@texchu8331 The league not finna allow that for sure. Definitely a good idea tho. They’ll prolly try and say it’s tampering.
@@texchu8331this is one of the biggest faces in the world ain’t no way the nba boutta allow that

One problem.. Bronnie ain’t leaving USC this summer and going to the NBA… that is like factual knowledge
He needs more experience playing. It wouldn't do him any good being a one and done. He hasn't been that impressive in his short time back from that tragic health scare. It makes more sense playing more and seeing where he is next year.
Bronny needs 4 years and a g league season. He’s 6’2” and is not good enough on offence to be that big a liability on defense.
@@walker1984 His son just isn't good enough compared to other talent.
If he declared for the draft, he would get drafted. Maybe 2nd round, but he would get drafted simply for the fact that lebron would consider signing.
@@SamUHells lebron and bronny would ruin a team. Bronny is a legit D3 player, bron is washed
The Lakers would be idiots to bet anymore of their future to save this team.
They still have many first round picks left especially next season if you actually think lakers have no future
We’ve proven conclusively that we can develop second round picks and undrafted players. We’re not a small market team, we don’t have to huddle together in desperation and hoard our first round picks like they’re franchise saving gold 🙄. We can attract free agents, especially with a clear cap sheet, and we can develop young players without having first round picks. We can also be patient and sign mid-level free agents to team friendly contracts with options to make moves to acquire players before the season, and before the trade deadline, and we can trade for first round picks or we can use our cap space to absorb contracts that are expiring the next season at the trade deadline for teams who just wanna dump players and if we’re under the cap, we can absorb the salary without sending salary out and then we can turn around when that clears off and have picks in our war chest and cap space to maneuver. If our front office is working patiently and skillfully, we don’t have to have our own picks.

Lakers are a picture perfect example of how to make bad decisions and trades. Nothing suprises me anymore.
Bronny is averaging 5 points a game on an 8-12, last place, Trojan team in the weakest major conference in college basketball. He would be a fool to forego another year of school and declare his eligibility for the draft. Jesus..

Jokes on him because most fan bases don’t want the franchise crippler, LeBron James. The LAL mess is 100% Brons fault at this point.
I'm at a loss as to why any franchise or front office would want this absolute parasite. He comes into a franchise, guts their resources and future value, fires coaches, trades and squanders talent and makes it all about him.
And then the media and bronnsexuals look at a box score and go "huhhh huhhh worth it!" And keep feeding this nonsense.
Thanks

Los Angeles Lakers are having a weird season 🤔🤔🤔
I bet teams will avoid drafting Bronny cause they don't wanna deal with the dramaqueen himself
Can you do a video on the nets
seeya! looking forward to a fresh start in LA
Would be hilarious if bronny doesn’t get picked in the draft even with Lebron saying he’d go wherever he gets drafted cause kid looks like a multi year college player at best and Lebron doesn’t play winning basketball just stat padding ball these days so his fangirls can say but look at his stats he can’t be the problem.
Honestly, its just a really bad idea to go after bronny in the draft. If a team does get him it should be for a low value second round pick.
Even if you could guarantee that Lebron joins your team, congrats you get 1 year of game from one of the oldest guys in the league, and you best believe that he will expect Bronny to get playing time, and all of the drama that will come along with the fact that they are both on the same team, and the weird locker room dynamics that would bring.
This is the type of risk that you could only take on a small market team that is struggling to sell tickets.
Fully agree! Yeah you’d have to be in a rebuild or about to pull the trigger on one the next season to take that risk. Cause bronny ain’t looking anywhere near nba ready and you know Lebron would demand he plays at least a couple games a decent chunk of minutes. I honestly feel bad for bronny cause if he doesn’t become even a role player he’ll be ridiculed for the rest of his life just cause dad wanted to feed his ego…even if he becomes an end of bench player he’ll get it from folks that it’s only cause daddy made it happen.
China?
@WARnTEA guess we'll see the James dynamic duo in Washington next year.
@@WARnTEA for Basically all the teams that aren't currently a contender it's worth the Risk though. At worst what do you lose? A low 1st or 2nd round pick? And Brony comes packaged with an All Star on a bargain deal and a lot of attention from media and fans. Any team that isn't currently on the run for a championship would be thrilled to have that deal.
More Lakers talk. Anything to keep them relevant, i guess.
Lebron should just reitre b4 his PED abuse gets public. He still is on the biogenisis ledger list, but the NBA doesnt care bc he is theor cash cow

As a Lakers fan I hope we save our picks for the off-season. If Bron stays we can make a big trade with those assets and make a real run for the championship, but if he leaves we keep assets that will be valuable in the future. Making a desperate trade right now would be stupid as Darwin Ham will still be the coach and whoever comes in won't make him better at his job
The worst thing a player can do is get into it on social media with others. Let people say what they have to say. Now he's distracted. Not a good look when he should concentrate on his game.
Speaking as a Raptors fan here, that Bruce brown trade can kiss my ass lol, I’d rather keep a good player and pick up his option than get that in return
I bet the reason why Murray was a better defender in San Antonio. It's because Greg popovich was all in that ass (and I mean always on his case).
Thanks for clarifying.

Ehh I’m a big spurs fan and I disagree with this. maybe the pop of old, but current pop is less rough and lets the players work through their mistakes. Lebron should join the sixers who could also draft bronny. 🤷♂️ him and Embiid and maxey could beat the Celtics
As a sixer fan, embiid will just be hurt at some point lol
As a Sixers fan hope not
They do got the a top 5 pick am pretty sure am big 76ers fan that’s my favorite team
The problem with that is Bronny will require playing time, and if you don’t strike a delicate balance the whole team dynamics get fucked. You can’t play Bronny for a lot of minutes otherwise he will get hunted and lose you games. However if you give him 3rd string minutes Lebron will complain and cause a bad atmosphere in the locker room.
Can we please get a video on Brandon Miller
Factssss
I swear a team is gonna pick Bronnie above a good player who becomes a star and then everyone calls Bronnie a "bust"
We all know the only trade that really makes sense: Send Lebron to the Wizards! For Kuzma, Tyus Jones and Avdija. Add Kuzma and Jones, a solid point guard, to the Lakers, they'll be really good. And Lebron can further follow MJ's path, like he chose Nr. 23 and made Space Jam 2, and end his career in Washington, just like his idol.
Bron should do whatever he wants at this point in his career. He know he won’t win anymore rings so he should focus on playing with his son and push his stats out so it’s tougher for someone to pass him in scoring.
Let LeChina walk! Lakers Blow.
Isn't he stealing his sons spotlight by doing that? Bronny isn't that good to begin with and where ever he goes he'll know they didn't choose him on skill.
nepotism at its finest.
Can they just trade away LeBum for some picks? Or does LeGM have no trade clause?
NBA so rigged at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if Cavs get Bronny, Bron goes back there and wins a championship for some great headlines.
Lebron making sure his son gets star treatment before he retires, respectable 😂
Honestly moving on from Lebron is probably for the best. He's old and only wants to run the offense. People are complaining about the coach and how he favors players like TP and Cam but reality is, Lebron has always been the coach, TP and Cam playing is his decision and it makes sense since they're defensive guys to cover his lack of defense.
Ham literally came out and said in an interview he talked to Lebron about the line up changes.
That's why he still has his job, dude is nothing but Lebron's scapegoat.
Finally. People can't wrap their heads around it. Lebrons value even on a losing team is 6000000x that of any league coach. Everything is and has been done to protect the dude since he left Miami.
Good! maybe I can be a laker fan again.

lol every time you involve the raptors in a trade you’re sending Toronto trash lol
0:28 😅 dude always hates his coach tho. HOW MANY COACH, BRON 😂😂😂
Nice.
you've lost your mind on that offer for bruce brown.
Man he operates on so many assumptions its insane.
The only reason he'd ever be drafted is because of his name and not the quality of his "game". In what universe would anyone get drafted having his numbers unless his game doesn't matter. How long does his career last after dad retires? He just isn't good enough to last on his own. At a certain point ownership realizes kowtowing to James isn't conducive for future success.
How is nobody mentioning that Bronny will be out of NBA by the end of his rookie contract, maybe even sooner. And people would be taking him just to have some leverage on LeBron and trading him to their team, God damn it's ugly for Bronny.
I feel sorry for Bronny, he's an Mount Everest high risk with a deep sea trench low reward. The fact that the only good grace for having Bronny on a team is that some 40+ year old James joins that team is a publicity stunt that has zero championship futures. If people can't speak about a rookie and their talents and changes the subject to how great it'd be for some 40+ year old to join that team speaks volumes on Bronny's readiness for the NBA. Like you said, out maybe even before his contract is finished and just gets waived after James' retires.
The other reason he's just way too much of a risk is cause of his severe heart attack, now that he's had one it's even more likely to happen again in the future, teams for the sake of Bronny's health would be forced to put a minutes restriction on him and can't use him as a long term starting rotation. They'd essentially be walking on eggshells watching this guy play cause you'll never know when it'll happen again, can't even use PEDs as those would increase the chance for heart failure as well
Though i'd really laugh my butt off if Detroit or Washington drafts him for the fun of it lol.
I dont think DM is gonna get traded for how good the cavs have been doing
Why are we assuming Bronny will be one and done or even play in the NBA at all? So far we haven't seen his play in college justify being drafted. Or is the fix already in because of who his father is?
That be funny if he goes to warriors
He’s gonna exhaust every resource they have and when it still doesn’t work he’s gonna bounce leaving them as a mess while he’s gone in the wind.
That’s my guess.
Murray lack of defense is seen very clearly because the other guard doesn’t know how to defend.
they need a center and shooters
You’re out of your mind that a smart man like Masai will make a trade with the Lakers 😂😂😂
It's like listening to an earthquake insurance salesman in Texas describe the current state of the NBA.
I don't see why we're still discussing trades as if the Lakers are or can be a contender. We should be talking about a rebuild already because this team ain't winning a chip.
Ill stay put and wait to try to swing a trade for Donavan Mitchell or embid
First off the money doesn’t work. The deal is impossible without giving up Rui or Reaves along with DLO and Vincent😬
Two of them, Royce and Dinwiddie, shoot low 30’s from 3 and around 40% from the floor, and DFS is banged up all the time and past his prime…???
This would be a downgrade. The only positive might be if we can unload three or four of our crappy contracts at the bottom of our roster, but that’s not possible, because the nets have a bunch of team friendly contracts at the bottom of their roster.
The problem with LA is Pocket's Ham, they will not win shit with him. He's not a good coach and all these weird rotations are crazy. Any trades will not make them better if I'm them I will wait until the offseason.
It doesn't help that the Lakers are playing 4 on 5 every fast break while LeBron is complaining to the refs and walking back.
Lakers thinking D'Angelo Russell is good trading asset is dilutional
0:52 did he just mention Russel Westbrook?
and to think Caruso said he wanted to stay and would even accept less money than what Chicago offered to stay and they still said no.
Rumors don't say Jimmy butler is available. That was from The low post podcast .. when Kendrick Perkins said it. Come on. It was a hypothetical question
Believe me the lakers cant wait to move on.
I somehow feel it is not a good development for son to play along with dad that has such big name.
