I am pretty sure that while this couple will start from the low point robbing liquor stores and local businesses, as the story progresses they will meet more powerful people with more high-end demands. It´s basically the story arc of every GTA (edit: I don´t say it´s bad, I like it). You start small time and by the end of the story you have participated even in federal operations.

Rockstar have always been masters at making time capsules. Games that just feel like living through a certain period of history and this trailer certainly captures that for me. @@mjfromjerseyalso the hair movements, the jewelry actually moving when people change their position, the sandy feet on the beach etc… they seem to have nailed the small details again
On a technical level, this looks good. I am very cynical about this from a story level though, I always played R* games for the story and with Dan Houser leaving in 2020, this game feels like it's going to focus more on the "street level" and party life than anything crazy like the previous games.
Me personally, and of course it’s an unpopular opinion, but I think the story mode is gonna suck. I’m only gonna buy the game just to play online and experience the new map with friends. That’s something I’m looking forward to.
You want to play a GTA game and expect a Shakespearean tragedy? Grow up. GTA has always been about parodying our society. This game will do that in spades. I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say this will be the greatest game of all time when released.
Honestly, i just want them to focus on the story rather than online. The storyline is what makes the game... the online aspect is just an addition. Let's not forget what the story and overall functioning state of GTA 5 story mode is like. They literally left it to rot aside and decided to go for online.
It was a long wait but honestly worth it. This game looks incredible well detailed and just from the trailer, it seems to have captured the vibe of modern Florida very well

At 2:31 mark. You can see the famous "Ocean View Hotel" returning from 3D era Vice City and knowing Rockstar they definitely might have included an easter egg for Tommy Vercetti somewhere in the game.
@@AegisReflector It will probably release in late 2025, which would be around Oct/Nov/Dec. We’re in late 2023 right now, which would mean 2 years, give or take a couple months
I really really hope that Rockstar will market this game more frequently in the coming months to generate even more hype. The total 8-month information drought between the first GTA V trailer and the eventual first screenshots in July 2012 was horrible and frustrating.
I’m glad you mentioned the the social media videos in the trailer. I personally believe social media will be a an interesting aspect of the game, and there will almost certainly be social media apps and sites you can visit, I wonder if all these videos shown are just some of the many social media videos you can find online
Even if there's a year wait, that just means there's more time to be drip fed more trailers and info on the game. Instead of focusing on how long that wait is just wait for the next trailer and soon enough it'll be the launch trailer
I'm really just kind of bummed out the story mode appears to be so focused on Heists once again, two games In a row, three counting red dead 2. A great thing about gta 4 is there's minimal robberies, one large bank robbery
I'm seeing evidence of what looks like raytraced reflections and lighting. In the first shot looking through the glass on the door inside the prison, you can see a clear light bounce from the sun to the character's shoulder, then the light bounces onto her face (where it is then shaded realistically with subsurface scattering). So that's definitely RTGI. My evidence that the reflections are ray traced is that there aren't any disocclusion artifacts like you would see in screen space reflections. The reflections on surfaces meet up with the object they're reflecting and don't do that thing where the reflection becomes incorrect when something crosses in front of it. Their hair rendering is next-level and is also being lit with subsurface scattering and RTGI. So they're leveraging high end RT techniques in one of the densest and largest open worlds we've ever seen. In addition to being a great game, this is also going to be a generational tech showpiece.
If you look closely at the road signs in the background at 3:34, they even included tiny details like the sunpass toll system in Florida. Nobody every would’ve cared if they didn’t, and yet they did
It will be a long ass wait but I remember getting excited about GTA VI in January 2022. Now that it's official I'll be happy to sit back and wait in anticipation.
man, i remember how lost i was gta 5, not knowing the street and location, that feeling of new things and discovery, im really excited to discover the city
We had to wait pretty much a year and a bit from the original announcement of GTAV to get it released (after a delay pushing it back from March 2013 to September 2013) - So it coming out somewhere in 2025 atleast means they aren't pushing it out the door rough to make fans happy. I even still have my preorder bundle for GTAV back when I preordered it in November 2012.
The visuals are absolutely spectacular but I really hope that they aren't compensation to a prosaic storyline. Ofcourse, kepticism can always fall wrong though.
Impermanent Resonance is the third solo album and fifth solo project by Canadian singer James LaBrie.[1] It was released on July 29, 2013, in Europe and on August 6, 2013, in North America.
I'm down for the more "grounded" missions. As much fun as GTA 5 was, it felt like an 80's action movie at times (landing a plane in a plane, alien abduction, breaking into a top secret government bio weapon lab, hostage extraction from a FBI/FIB building, etc.). Bring back the old GTA feel with street gangs, organized crime, and drug cartels... They were so much fun, because there was a level of believability that 5 lost at times with its more outrageous set pieces.
What I really love about Rockstar is how simple their trailers are , no flashy editing no use of cg trailers no use of celebrities to promote the games . Just to the point of what you are going to do . Any other game company or filmmaker would have just put a song of weeknd or billie Ellish or any zoomer influencer in the trailer and call it a day but here it shows the level of confidence in the marketing team , devs and the audio engineers have for their product . Props to them for not following the current trend which I have seen is redflag for a lot of games
Take note of Lucia's predatory gaze at Jason in the artwork, her glib explanation of "bad luck" putting her in jail, and the clear dynamic in the relationship that she's the one in charge. She is going to use and betray Jason.
Yeah it's woke trash, they clearly made her the dom and him the sub in the relationship. Plus Jason barely said more than 1 word if that in the trailer lmfao. And 5x more women than men in the trailer, that's hilarious
After years of waiting through all those clickbait GTA 6 trailers, we FINALLY got the real one and man was it worth all that nonsense. This looks fantastic! And seeing Vice City finally get it's place in the HD GTA universe after Liberty City and Los Santos just brings joy to my heart! I might have to replay Vice City and Vice City Stories again after this. Can't wait to spend billion of hours into this game like I did with GTA 4 and GTA 5 to find out all the hidden details.
One thing that, for whatever reason, I think could be a pretty great mission, is have shit go down at a race, but not your street races, no no. I mean a race equivalent to that of the Daytona 500 or the Miami Grand Prix, having end up stealing one of the race cars for XY reason, and it could also be a massive showoff of huge crowds if they want to go that route as well. I dunno, I think it could be fun.
I'm glad they're grounding this game in reality I've always wanted a gta where it focuses on real world crime selling dope robbing stores breaking unto houses not skydiving into the ocean to steal a submarine blow up a cargoship to steal a superweapon I mean gta 5 felt like 007 at times
3:21 that looks like the real life florida highway patrol 2-door Dodge Challenger, they have 15 of them in real life and they are crazy! Also happy to see the main cruiser looks closer to a Ford Crown Victoria too!
I think waiting till 2025 is obviously worth it in the long run. I mean after all.... one has to make sure that the game is completely polished and enjoyable for those to play once it launches. :)
Imma just need there to be an original score. Tangerine Dream's score for GTA V was sublime. Hearing "We were set up" during the Long Stretch, or that music while flying, or the main menu OST were such amazing touches to the game and its atmosphere. They need to do that again.
I cannot believe this is not CGI, because of how amazing everything looks. Rockstar has yet again proven they are on top, when it comes to open world and that they dont need some weird nvidia tech(like cyberpunk path tracing) to make good lighting for the their games.
Badger is the only rockstar youtuber i trust outside of GTA series videos imma strictly be going to your content with all the latest news moving forward
I missed the premiere due to them releasing the trailer a day early. But we finally got a official trailer for this after all these years See you all in 2025 when this comes out.
idk if it looks much better than rdr2 there is a jump but not a massive one what im more impressed with is just the scale of everything not to say it doesnt look better but i think going from the wilderness of rdr to the massive buildings and hundreds of lights and all the reflections it will be crazy
I believe there will be a COPS/LivePD parody, likely on the in-game TV akin to the underbelly of paradise, the events of this trailer probe into the craziness that was on those shows, the way the media is portrayed in this trailer, it could even be something akin to the short snippets seen on TikTok or CZcams Shorts with the reposts if the TV isn't as heavily explored, like past games, seeing as they were in an era where online video entertainment didn't have the cultural significance it does now (it may have still been there, but it would've been the younger generation then) but now it's so widespread, they couldn't not parody it. The Instagram live style may be Snapmatic explored further as a surrogate, more likely than a Bleeter or Lifeinvader type of thing or it could be completely new. There has been so much that I have noticed from the points of peds, animations and possible scenarios that have been out, the original theory back for GTA V with animals is almost not going to happen here, but still in the scene in which we see the strip at night we see a guy with a Khameleon on his shoulder, so it could be something shown with small animals or as it likely just will be, ped animals, and related scenarios, the world building shown in this is so far underplayed by a lot of people's analysis, and I personally haven't particularly seen it mentioned in full detail. I could blabber all day, but I need to stop now, Christ I love speculation, and amazing work as always Badger.
I swear because of all the fake ai generated trailers that kept getting made by people, when I watched this I had to take a few seconds to adjust to the fact that this was the real deal 😂😂
I actually think it coming out in 2025 is a good thing, I'll have time to get enough money to buy an Xbox and save up for the game, even if it comes out costing a hundred dollars
i love how it looks very realistic and graphically impressive, but also not boring. it very clearly has an art style while mimicking real life without getting to the point where it looks as boring as real life. through all these years, gta 6 hasn't been something i was particularly hyped for. i wanted it just like everyone else, but it seemed so far away that it was more like a thought in the back of my head. but now that we're finally seeing a trailer, for the first time i am feeling genuine pain that i can't play it

It´s basically the story arc of every GTA (edit: I don´t say it´s bad, I like it). You start small time and by the end of the story you have participated even in federal operations.
Using Tom Petty for the trailer music was top-notch
Just wanna say that i really love the content you put out man! Out of all the videos covering GTA VI i think this one might actually be my favorite so far. I love how you pointed out the ankle brace thing too, i didn't notice that actually
But yeah man, i been watching your channel for a few years now and i just wanted to say keep up the great work 👍
Honestly I'm fine with them coming out the gate saying "2025". It's better than them saying "Fall 2024" and then having to announce a delay next Summer or something. Plus it gives them even more time to polish the game up and make sure it WORKS at launch, an art that every other gaming studio today seems to have forgotten
Don't hold ur breath, it can even be delayed until after 2025
Rockstar have never released a half finished game. Makes me laugh all these zoomers that think Rockstar is some Fortnite shit game
@@MrWolfSnack Even though I'm Gen Z, but I agree dude, ppl in my generation first GTA was 5 , they don't know how good rockstar actually is nor they know their quality of writing and character development prior to GTA 5 , thank god I was born in a 3rd world country so our government couldn't care less if a literally 7 year old plays GTA, I've played all older GTA since that age, and I guarantee you none of them had bugs compared to other games of that generation, Literally Rockstar could release gta 6 by tomorrow and it will knock all other games out of the park by its quality
One thing I noticed is the PMP600 is making a return from 4 along with the Hakumai I believe
Just dumb speculation but I get the feeling that the story is going to be about manipulation. Lucia controlling Jason. That theme is even present in the song. And the cover art for the trailer sorta suggests this as well. But I could be way off
Betrayal could be a theme too..
You are off for sure.
this game is genuinely going to be the biggest and best game released in a while. no other game studios have made billions in revenue the same way Rockstar have. i think this game is going to be years, maybe even decades ahead of anything weve ever seen before
yeah this looks incredibly ambitious, paradigm shift incoming
Rockstar have always been masters at making time capsules. Games that just feel like living through a certain period of history and this trailer certainly captures that for me. The idea that everyone is chasing clout on social media, doing dumb stuff and sharing it online, it would be impossible to represent current day America without this stuff. First thing I've seen in a while that just feels so 2020's to me, if that makes any sense.
Just goes to show how grotesque this post modern hellscape really is.

Huh? They all have unrealistic bodies, wdym?
@@Gadottinho It's seems to be impossible to please you?
Yeah! I noticed that too. There's a lot more variety - GTA V basically had "Fat" and "Thin" which is fine because of limitations at the time, but more variety and realism is always appreciated

Looks like were getting a huge jump in so many aspects, hopefully we get more main missions because V felt short
I agree. GTA V was way too short. At the end I felt "was this all?".
Looking back, gta 5 fell down in so many ways
@@itisfreakI would like to ask in earnest: when did you last play GTA 5?
On a technical level, this looks good. I am very cynical about this from a story level though, I always played R* games for the story and with Dan Houser leaving in 2020, this game feels like it's going to focus more on the "street level" and party life than anything crazy like the previous games.
It very much feels like that so far from first impressions .
Ive heard that he already wrote most of the story before he left in 2020.
I'm not crazy about the focus on social media. Why did that take up such a massive chunk of the trailer?
This game looks incredible well detailed and just from the trailer, it seems to have captured the vibe of modern Florida very well
It's probably gonna come out in Fall 2025. Just remember, we've already waited 10 years for this. 2 more years is nothing compared to that.
Thanks for all you do Badger! We made it man! Can’t believe we are finally seeing you react to GTA 6!!!
the way the game looks is genuinely unbelievable, at times it literally looks like real life if you're not paying full attention. i really just hope that the story is gonna be good, unlike 5's. it looks like it will be amazing but i also don't wanna get my hopes up. they got us hyped, and i hope they keep it up! also the lighting in the scenes where lucia is leaving prison is actually stunning.
I’m actually impressed with what I saw, this looks really good. I might’ve been critical through the years just because I found it annoying with how much I saw “wHeRe GTA VI”, the fake videos, logos and all that other crap was just too much for me. I’m really glad the game still has its ridiculous sense of humor in tact and this map I can tell is going to be BIG! This will be a good time for sure, I just hope the story is good.
At 2:31 mark. You can see the famous "Ocean View Hotel" returning from 3D era Vice City and knowing Rockstar they definitely might have included an easter egg for Tommy Vercetti somewhere in the game.
My question is, will the gun and liquor store that Jerry Kapowitz, the guy who found the diamonds at the end of GTA 4, appear in GTA 6…
My favorite theory about the trailer is that it’s Lucia’s story in reverse. It would explain why she’s in prison in the beginning.
The game looks absolutely fantastic! I cannot wait to play it. I hope these next 2 years fly by

I really really hope that Rockstar will market this game more frequently in the coming months to generate even more hype. The total 8-month information drought between the first GTA V trailer and the eventual first screenshots in July 2012 was horrible and frustrating.
They will likely pop a trailer every 6 months.
1:17 i really hope that's the case I hate that they open the all map from the get go
bikes at 4:30 are assets from GTA 5 from the looks of it
We made it ladies and gents... now we gotta play the waiting game
I'm really just kind of bummed out the story mode appears to be so focused on Heists once again, two games In a row, three counting red dead 2. A great thing about gta 4 is there's minimal robberies, one large bank robbery
Sthu
Glad you finally uploaded on this! 100% going to be an unbelievable game. Honestly looks better than I figured it would
I'm seeing evidence of what looks like raytraced reflections and lighting.
Couldn't agree more, this is unheard of fidelity in gaming
GTA 6 looks like how everyone wanted the saints row reboot to be
Yea, something about it doesn't feel like a GTA trailer. Not sure if I like it
If you look closely at the road signs in the background at 3:34, they even included tiny details like the sunpass toll system in Florida. Nobody every would’ve cared if they didn’t, and yet they did
4:30 i saw that real life situation happen 3 days ago, person riding did a wheelie just like that.
It will be a long ass wait but I remember getting excited about GTA VI in January 2022. Now that it's official I'll be happy to sit back and wait in anticipation.
What a first trailer we have barely touch the surface of what else this Vice City has to offer.
man, i remember how lost i was gta 5, not knowing the street and location, that feeling of new things and discovery, im really excited to discover the city
Skepticism* since Dan left the house
Honestly even if the story sucks GTA is all about the world and immersion but I doubt the story will be bad
@@Chiefrocka. Maybe. Rockstar can't be messing up all that bad after all

in 2:22 on left some woman is t-posing
I'm down for the more "grounded" missions. As much fun as GTA 5 was, it felt like an 80's action movie at times (landing a plane in a plane, alien abduction, breaking into a top secret government bio weapon lab, hostage extraction from a FBI/FIB building, etc.). Bring back the old GTA feel with street gangs, organized crime, and drug cartels... They were so much fun, because there was a level of believability that 5 lost at times with its more outrageous set pieces.
For real
nailed it
What I really love about Rockstar is how simple their trailers are , no flashy editing no use of cg trailers no use of celebrities to promote the games . Just to the point of what you are going to do . Any other game company or filmmaker would have just put a song of weeknd or billie Ellish or any zoomer influencer in the trailer and call it a day but here it shows the level of confidence in the marketing team , devs and the audio engineers have for their product . Props to them for not following the current trend which I have seen is redflag for a lot of games
i now realize how effed the US is at this point
The trailer was AWESOME!!!
Take note of Lucia's predatory gaze at Jason in the artwork, her glib explanation of "bad luck" putting her in jail, and the clear dynamic in the relationship that she's the one in charge.
She is going to use and betray Jason.
Reminds me of Catalina. That’d be fucking cool.
Yeah it's woke trash, they clearly made her the dom and him the sub in the relationship. Plus Jason barely said more than 1 word if that in the trailer lmfao. And 5x more women than men in the trailer, that's hilarious

Hi badger. Will you be doing a video taking a look at the GTA V source code for beta content?
After years of waiting through all those clickbait GTA 6 trailers, we FINALLY got the real one and man was it worth all that nonsense. This looks fantastic! And seeing Vice City finally get it's place in the HD GTA universe after Liberty City and Los Santos just brings joy to my heart! I might have to replay Vice City and Vice City Stories again after this. Can't wait to spend billion of hours into this game like I did with GTA 4 and GTA 5 to find out all the hidden details.
Then after that revisit Las Venturas and San Fierro from GTA San Andreas and imagine a modern HD Rockstar Games take on Las Vegas.
Most scenes in the trailer can be described starting with "Florida Man/Woman _____"
Always love the coverage and comments by badger goodger. Keep it up man
One thing that, for whatever reason, I think could be a pretty great mission, is have shit go down at a race, but not your street races, no no. I mean a race equivalent to that of the Daytona 500 or the Miami Grand Prix, having end up stealing one of the race cars for XY reason, and it could also be a massive showoff of huge crowds if they want to go that route as well. I dunno, I think it could be fun.
Do you mean kinda like that mission in mafia 1?

I'm glad they're grounding this game in reality I've always wanted a gta where it focuses on real world crime selling dope robbing stores breaking unto houses not skydiving into the ocean to steal a submarine blow up a cargoship to steal a superweapon I mean gta 5 felt like 007 at times
Very very true, I love gta 5’s single player to death but it definitely loses that grand theft auto feel at times.
I hope they add a fictional version of Homestead-Miami Speedway. That'd be awesome.
3:21 that looks like the real life florida highway patrol 2-door Dodge Challenger, they have 15 of them in real life and they are crazy! Also happy to see the main cruiser looks closer to a Ford Crown Victoria too!

Vice City would be a cool place for Luis Lopez to show up in.
Looks like Mafia3 crahsed into Far Cry 6 on a greasy Florida highway
I think waiting till 2025 is obviously worth it in the long run.
I mean after all.... one has to make sure that the game is completely polished and enjoyable for those to play once it launches. :)
Imma just need there to be an original score. Tangerine Dream's score for GTA V was sublime. Hearing "We were set up" during the Long Stretch, or that music while flying, or the main menu OST were such amazing touches to the game and its atmosphere. They need to do that again.
never thought this day would come. Thanks for all the GTA 6 news over the past couple years, lets hope 2025 comes quick!
I cannot believe this is not CGI, because of how amazing everything looks. Rockstar has yet again proven they are on top, when it comes to open world and that they dont need some weird nvidia tech(like cyberpunk path tracing) to make good lighting for the their games.
This delivered on all fronts imo. Characters. Graphics. Scope. Tone. Writing. Dialogue.

Rockstar trailers all looks worse than actual in game footage on release. But it's already looking so good. ❤
YESSS I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR UR VID ON THE TRAILER
i love how it looks very realistic and graphically impressive, but also not boring. it very clearly has an art style while mimicking real life without getting to the point where it looks as boring as real life.
through all these years, gta 6 hasn't been something i was particularly hyped for. i wanted it just like everyone else, but it seemed so far away that it was more like a thought in the back of my head. but now that we're finally seeing a trailer, for the first time i am feeling genuine pain that i can't play it
GTA used to always be hyper-exaggerated America but this one felt relatively 'normal'? The stuff in the trailer looked like what you would see on the street these days and would not think twice about. Oh how the world has changed, I am looking forward to it.
Yup hyper exaggerated parody of America is now the new normal we live in today quite sad
Don’t get hyped. It’s just a trailer. Lots of games teased with great trailers and “it’s ingame“ but failed to deliver.
