I think the issue with the logo is that the cigars / pipes look like snakes coming out of his mouth.
Hope it looks as good as puffin rooms in liverpool.
That ceiling is beautiful. Here in my city there is an old building downtown that was being renovated. When they tore down the drop ceiling on the main level there was a beautiful ornate plaster ceiling that they drilled into and covered up. I cannot imagine doing that to such a work. The new owner ended up hiring a craftsman out of Scotland or something that does Church work to redo the plaster work

Really? I quite like it. The pipes look like a flowing mustache or beard. I like the weight and length the pipes give to Chesterton’s piercing visage. Good proportions. I think a good blend of fun and serious. Keep it Matt!

I didn't know I needed a Cthulhu Chesterton, but there it is... I mean, I like it, and I think it looks super cool. It's just questionable, but I'm sure they thought of that in the making of it.
I'd love to know what Chesterton would have thought of the association. They seem to have been contemporaries.

I love your store , I live right across the river and you got a loyal customer in me . The Alec Bradley products are by far the best , I bought a filthy hooligan the other day . I will be back on Monday to buy the rest of them and start my membership. When you walk threw the door it's like going back in time . The coolest place in town !!!

Outstanding!!! I have a theory (only half tongue in cheek) that one may trace the decline of the US and the West to the war on tobacco. I don't think it's a coincidence that Hitler (the teetolaling, vegan ascetic) was defeated by three dedicated smokers (Churchill, Roosevelt, Stalin). Think of Chesterton, CS Lewis, etc. You're in good company!
Awesome idea!! But, honestly, I hate the logo. All that stuff spewing from his mouth makes him ugly and look like he's possessed. One of the typical things that happens to a person under demonic possession I've heard is that objects like nails, etc. come out of their mouths. I think the logo can be way better.

Gentrification is a joke of a concept. A lot of poor people who own stuff in poorer areas are made super rich by gentrification.
I've seen communities improved by social workers and when they are suddenly nicer areas, the owners of the properties charge higher rent and the poor people have to leave anyway.
Not to mention the fact that by the world becoming richer in the last few decades, the world poverty has decreased by like 50%
The measure of whether a society is ok are not by gentrification but rather percentage of poverty line as well as what a society does for it's most downtrodden and the state of it's most downtrodden, not the gap of wealth between the top and bottom, or whether places are improved and naturally more desirable and worth more... How stupid...

Even though it's unfortunate that it's centered around an unhealthy hobby, at least it's a chance for Catholics to get together and maybe have a positive moral influence on each-other. A good end through a flawed means in my eyes.
