      @@jessb8005 try making your own. Just add honey and a penetrating oil into your rinse out conditioner to turn it into a deep conditioner. Or try alaffia conditioners. I use the unscented one. A 32 ounce bottle is $14.95. It seeps into my hair quickly to condition my 4c strands. It is my holy grail. I do not even have to add anything to it. Just cover my hair with a plastic cap and towel to trap heat while I shower.

    My fav part about your hair tutorials is that the main theme is always SIMPLICITY! Naturals, especially us 4c naturals, make the hair styling process so much work because we’re fighting the texture instead of embracing it. Glad to see an example of someone using easy methods to show us how we can love on hair rather than stress over it. Keep ‘em coming! 💜

      @@Goodshihh Its 4c yes in the middle and sides but mixed curl pattern. She has some 4b hair as well and a little 4a. The key to getting your 4c curls to pop is moisture. They are numerous ways to do this. Another key thing is using the right products that permit your natural curls to pop. For a quick result check out the cherry Lola treatment followed by a bentonite clay hair mask. They will make your natural curl visible. Remember 4c hair is curly hair. It just happens to have the tightest curl on the curly hair spectrum.

      Same. Almost any gel with a lot of hold leaves my hair dry 😑 The Maine Choice has a gel that's very moisturizing. Just not sure if it provides as much hold for a wash n go, but it does make your curls pop!

    Kim, u doing wash n go's now! I'm definitely following your routine. My hair looks just like yours with no product and I have all the products u used. I don't own a diffuser so this works for me. Tfs 😘

    I could never use the eco olive on my wash n go. My hair is super fine and curly, however it does keep my edges laid. Great video!

      I have very fine hair too. My hair is kinky-coily. I used to use eco styler but I find that wetline extreme gel is more gentle on my hair. My wash n gos last about 3, to 4 days max if that helps. 😊

    Your hair is gorgeous! I'm going to get some Argan oil & try this 2 product WNG. I use to rock WNGs often when I started my natural journey, but it has been years for me (about 8+). Time flies. Hair grows! Tfs!

      marian millings yeah with it dry and the gel I wouldn’t try to comb it, but if u shampoo and condition it then detangle, you would be good.

    Kim how long would this style last before having to remoisturise?x

    • @candacebeater8203
      @candacebeater8203 Před 5 lety +10

      I know that you asked Kim, but I wanted to comment on your question and say that it depends on how long your hair holds moisture. I varies from person to person. For example when I do this style it's about 4 days without putting anything on it. On the 5th day it's time to moisturize again bc it starts to look dry and dull. Some will say less time and some may say more that 5 days. It just depends on how your hair is. When your hair starts looking dry, then it's time. At least that's what I do.

      @roxannejob-bayne4169 Před 5 lety +2

      So true. Thanks for replying.
      P.S- I also wanted to see if she could possibly do another video with a leave-in just to see if there's a difference in moisture retention and extending the wash-and-go.x
