I respect you my love, because I have NO time lmao. I have type 4 midback lengh hair and the wash and go is the bane of my natural hair existence. Also Cleo (my hair) despises gel so a head full of it doesn't sit well with her. She tangles and knots and then she shrinks, locking herself in that position. Not to mention the snowstorm. She's a real diva 😪 But your hair is looking BEAUTIFUL, love 💓
I tried this technique for my recent wash and go on this 4C hair and honey, it worked! Thank you so much. I sat there for about 3hrs, and it's worth it - this wash and go is on day 4 and still looks fresh.
This has always been my wash and goes. I would go crazy trying it now. As someone with 4c hair, high density, thicccc strands right now i cannot shangling every damn hair strand. That's crazy! It'd never dry without heat. Also little trick for 4c hair. It loves green tea! At least mine does. He adores it.
I have ultra fine strands and high density. I do not have the time patience or energy to finger coil each curl. Nah. Nope. I will do my sideburns and call it a day. Lol!
Hi Danelle. Love to join you on your journey loving your self and your natural hair texture. I wish I had the patience to shingle my 4B/4C hair. I just pile on as much gel as humanly possible and get out the old Denman brush. Keeping that definition in for 14 days that's amazing. Love your channel!
I love your hair! Mine is similar in texture and density. I’d LOVE to see you clarify and try “Tne Doux” foam for your wash and go. I think it will save you so much time and you won’t need to individually twirl every strand. It’s all I use now and I think you’d like it!
The coils are beautiful and I think you can get another week out of them. As a Type 4 (with mostly C) I have avoided wash and gos (or wash and stay-puts) because I think it doesn't work, but you have me convinced otherwise! How long did this take? It looks like it's at least three hours or so...
I don’t have 4c hair but I use a similar method. It takes me at least 5 hours if I coil? Twirl? My entire head. And I use larger sections so I’d say it took her maybe 5,6 hours?
I have 4c hair and this was primarily how I used to do my hair (I've only been doing box braids lately). If my memory serves me correctly, it usually took me about 3 to 4 hours, occasionally a little less if I wasn't being as thorough. But your mileage may vary!
I feel like this isn’t so much a wash and go than a finger coil... she looks beautiful regardless💜❤️ ijs edit: nvm she mentions this in the video tho, that it’s a wash....sit for several hrs...then go. Also for style that last 2 weeks, I’ll take 5 hrs of styling tbh. So nvm:)
That turned out great! How long have you been testing this 14 day method? What's the detangling process like after 14 days since we shed hair daily? Are you prepooing before washday? How long did it take to dry? Our curls are similar, my hair automatically clumps in the back but the front and sides takes more effort. I tend to do dry WnG with the similar method but 8ts been a while due to protective styling. Gonna give this a try.
Had to pause to say - I'd advice against method for 4b/c curls cause it causes massive tangles on wash day. Take it from someone with same texture that has tried it and lost so much hair combing this out.
I've always had trouble with my wash n go's getting super flat in the back and the defined curls losing their shape. Now that i know there's no way to get around it, i feel much better about it.
I feel you! When it got really flat I usually combatted it by spritzing with a little water, then oil, then gently lifting at the root with a pick or fluffing a bit with my fingers.
Giving YT the win for this recommended channel. Not only are you absolutely beautiful, your energy is SENDING me. You are a heckin' delight. Can't wait to see more of your videos.
Great minds think alike. I've been doing this hairstyle for the past three weeks. I love it. I can keep this hair moisturized throughout the week and not have to worry about small strand knots. I also don't get any breakage when I take it down.

Also Cleo (my hair) despises gel so a head full of it doesn't sit well with her. She tangles and knots and then she shrinks, locking herself in that position. Not to mention the snowstorm. She's a real diva 😪
But your hair is looking BEAUTIFUL, love 💓
Streching the hair is really good for length retention
I wish i had that kind of time. The definition is unreal! It looks absolutely beautiful 😍 you've made me reconsider doing a wash & go on my 4c hair
You have the patience of a saint!! I could NEVA!! But ur curls r poppin!! 🥰🥰
Woaw girl I respect you.. i cant spend that much time on my hair ever. Your result is splendid
OMG your wash n go is gorgeous 😍
my girl you get a thumbs up for doing that for every single "clump" of hair omg
Today is washday and I'm watching as I twist my hair. I don't have the patience or time to be twisting tuftlets, but the result looks amazing on you!
I tried this technique for my recent wash and go on this 4C hair and honey, it worked! Thank you so much. I sat there for about 3hrs, and it's worth it - this wash and go is on day 4 and still looks fresh.

😽🙀
Fluff nugget has really revived herself. 😍
The dedication is on level 10
This girl is hilarious!! She keeps me in stitches! 🤣😂😭
I'm so happy to finally see someone who's actually got my type of hair
4C hair..... highly appreciated🙌🏽💞
fluffnuggey is majestic and your earrings are fabulous as well! 🤩🤩
Lol!
The results look amazing. I’m gonna try this! Also, it’s nice to see that 4c hair can have coil definition.
Hi Danelle. Love to join you on your journey loving your self and your natural hair texture. I wish I had the patience to shingle my 4B/4C hair. I just pile on as much gel as humanly possible and get out the old Denman brush. Keeping that definition in for 14 days that's amazing. Love your channel!
The patience you have!! It's really pretty!!
That's more work than I am willing to do but I watched anyway because your personality is fun and engaging.
This is exactly what my hair does. Your hair is beautiful.
Girl, girl, girl! I did this method using similar products and it worked! Like I'm so shocked. Thank you for this video.
Love your work! watching from Botswana 🇧🇼 -new subscriber
do you speak any other language of botswana other than english? 😄
@@naudiamilan yeah I speak Setswana
Giving YT the win for this recommended channel. Not only are you absolutely beautiful, your energy is SENDING me. You are a heckin' delight. Can't wait to see more of your videos.
you always have THE cutest earrings, how can WE be down??! 😄
Fluffnugget is looking stellar.
Oh Danielle, I am in awe of how ridiculously beautiful you are.
Thanks so much I’m tired of CZcamsrs lying about having 4c hair.
Omg! That's some INTENSE shrinkage!
Great minds think alike. I've been doing this hairstyle for the past three weeks. I love it. I can keep this hair moisturized throughout the week and not have to worry about small strand knots. I also don't get any breakage when I take it down.
Wow! That shrinkage! Great job! Love your earrings 😍
