I have a 60p aquarium with this filter. I have this setup for 6 months with small fish ember Tetras green tetras and shrimps. I have the opposite experience that you have. The pre-filter needs cleaning every two weeks. Needs cleaning but nowhere closed to clogged. I have a tap on the output because the flow is too strong. Not sure how you got so much material floating that the pre filter will clogged. I don’t want to say you are doing something wrong but you are definitely doing something a whole lot different than I do. Maybe upload a video with your aquarium condition- light, livestock numbers, fertilization etc’.
Change your prefilter. Oase has a coarser sponges. I have had this same filter for over two years, and the flow is great. even too much for a 20-gallon high. So you obviously have an issue.
Yeah I was thinking that you would have to look at that flow as a simple fix for the way it is set up . Obviously I don't know from the video but I will ask if you have upgraded the pre-filter ? Drill any extra holes 🪛 switch out the foams ⌛ as another comment mentioned is your in & outlet fully opened 🚿 Best wishes to your improved FLOW STATE & FX ? IS not worth the 💲 OASE customer service with back up with everything and FLUVAL will put you on hold 🤬
Cleaning the pre filter only takes 2 mins. You can’t really compare it to an FX 6 either. I’ve got the BioMaster 600 and it’s the best filter I’ve ever used and the easiest to maintain. Something not right if you have to be cleaning the sponges every 2 days. I clean mine weekly and have fitted the new Oase pre filter pipe which is a good improvement.
Just watched your video, I have a biomaster 600 on a 500ltr chiclid tank and Hove no issue with it I think its great, your tank it clean because the filter is doing it job.
What size tank? My cousin has an FX6 on his 75 gallon. I have a Fluval 407 on a 55 gallon. Both are excellent filters. Get the spray bar kit with it. FX6 would be sufficient to run on a 125 gallon.

Something is wrong with your filter or you have done something wrong.
Have you set it on max flow?
I have good flow on mine.

clean the prefilter
Looks like the flow is set to minimum..?
It’s a shame you have no idea what you’re talking about
