i was looking for a new hobby and skateboarding had been always on my mind, something i wanted to try but never actually have. having done my research i stumbled upon your channel over a year ago when i was trying to choose my skateboard. i just got back from class, practiced a few tricks afterwards and i couldn’t be happier. keep the good work! :)
Soaring down hills made me realize how fun it really was to skate and cruise. Coming out of the pandemic a few years back and like many college students, I wanted something to help get me around campus and just get into, so I bought a 28.5" Sector Nine cruiser. But I didn't really get much use out of it until some cousins gave me an old 22" classic Penny Board, which my older bro really liked. Spent the money for new parts, and my bro fell in love with it again. Seeing him get into Penny boards has definitely inspired me to get back into skating, and we've actually been watching your vids for tips and tricks! Still learning, but being able to skate around with my bro has made everything worth it ✌
I'd argue the Arbor Pocket Rocket 27" is superior. Even comes with Paris trucks.
Once I started college, so many people around me were skating and naturally I would sometimes try my friends boards just for fun. Finally, during Christmas my sister bought me a board and I’ve never gone back without. I use it all the time, just blasting music and going around, one of the best stress relieving hobbies to have!!
Just recently got into skating. Always wanted to try it but was scared of getting injured. Finally decided to suck it up and try it, and now it's one of my favorite hobbies. I love it and skate almost every day. Would love to try different boards out like this nickel board
Sweet-looking graphics on that board! I got into skating last century as a kid. Back then, skating was in one of its biggest boom phases, and it seemed every kid had a board. Certainly most all the kids in my circle did. Our focus was maybe 15% tricks, 85% cruising, transportation, and really foolish downhill :) I'm riding again now as an older dude. Cruising miles at a time is fun, relaxing, and great exercise!
Thats a great board! I got into skateboarding as an 11 year old with a dad who skated. I got back into it a few years ago and do a mix of penny, skate and longboarding. Its a ton of fun, but admittedly I mostly just cruise.
Sick design on the board. I think what really got me to boarding was trying something challenging . It was back 6 years ago when I was back in high school , I used to take my 22 inch everyday to school. I remember I could not ride on every street but I would attempt to especially with the small board . Something about the challenge and satisfaction when finding those nice smooth roads was brought me to skating

AYYY! Another epic and successful video! So I i started boarding about 5 years ago and didn't really know where to start. I got a cheap Walmart board and thought I could start there with tricks and things. That didn't work out the way it could have, so I decided to start cruising on boards just to get the hang of balance before doing tricks. That's when I got my first penny board a couple of years ago, which I absolutely loved! To this day, my friends and I skate practically all the time! I really enjoy skateboarding because it is rich in culture and community! Not to mention that it just brings you so much joy to be able to cruise around! Though, it's even better with friends! I wrote this all out. I thought you were gonna pick the most inspiring comment. now I see that you are just gonna do it at random. oh well I'm gonna post this anyway. I used to skate when I was younger...I was good. I could do 360 flips by the end, I was good at technical skating. I gave it up but eventually I felt like there was something missing in my life so I bought a longboard on ebay but I thought it was a little too big...I wanted something I could be stealthy with or take on trips. so I bought an orange knock off penny on ebay. oh I was inspired by fun for louis and ben brown. I saw those guys penny boarding in parking lots on youtube. so that was back in like 2013. recently I bought another cheap penny board off ebay. I love cruising around but I'm in minnesota and I don't know if I'll be able to cruise in the winter. I feel like there is something spiritual about it too. it's like you can cruise around and get into a meditative state or cruise around in nature. this town I'm in is pretty good for cruising, there is a good path around the lake. I see a lot of younger people here on longboards
It's my favorite. Along with my 1977 Alva board. It's a similar feel. Although the Alva is 29".

I always wanted to skateboard as a kid, but could never figure it out. A few months back, now in my late 30s, my son and I took his lightly used skateboard to a smooth tennis court, and it was like something clicked for me as I started to ride it. Him and I have been practicing cruising together ever since, and a few weeks ago I picked up my first long board. I absolutely love riding around on it, checking out my surroundings from the board…….i do hope that if by any chance I win, this penny nickel can handle my size 15 shoes!!!!
Not a penny board user yet, but I’m looking to get into it as a way to commute faster from my place to school. Plus, using a penny board just looks really fun in general.
I don’t skate, but I’m certainly hoping to make it one of my hobbies! Penny boards look really cool to me and a joy to ride.
I love the video, keep doing what you’re doing. With skateboarding I got started at a young at like 4 or 5. On the holidays my cousin would come over and I’d see him pop kick flips, massive Ollie’s and swaggy no complies. It was blew away and I needed to learn to do that. And that’s how I started skateboarding and then later on I started lean more towards to just cruising. And that’s when I got my penny and it changed my life forever.

that design is unique and I have never seen anything like it, and I want to get into boards and would be stoked if it was my first one! I am a basketball player and you might be wondering why I want to join this. Well I live in an area where there is a lot of cruising and I want to learn how to on a 27 inch penny board because I am a bigger than average person. I also was into skating and BMX when I was younger and it would be so cool to be cruising around my area.
During Covid I bought my first board. The nickel Board. I wanted to try something new and get out the house. Fast forward about two years.. I got to college and I haven’t picked up the boats since high school. I’m a student athlete at Uiuc and basketball wasn’t going the way I wanted and it started to effect my everyday life. In a way I felt like a robot, like my life wasn’t really my own. So, I pulled out my skate board again and it’s has helped with my mental health tremendously. I feel like when I got back on the board I had some freedom and I felt like I was back in control. It literally forces me to be where my feet are and helps clear my mind when things get crazy.
I have the white 27” love it and have had it for a few years. The wheels and bushings are turning yellow. Should have known they wouldn’t be white forever. Still looks okay though.

I got into longboarding from a friend who let me use his Bustin Board but also from the Kualalumpar Videos channel! That guy was Penny Boarding all over these chill spots and I wanted to do the same. So I got into it to!
Sick looking deck, I got into penny boards because my son asking me for a skateboard but I feel a normal skateboard is too big for an 8 year old so I got him a knock off penny board from Amazon but he loves it and we've been practicing everyday
I started to skate way back when im at the sge of 7, may dad bought me an oldskul skateboard as a surprise gift. The skateboard has a plastic tail skid plate. Back then, i learned to ride skate naturaly and in year 2022, i started to street skate doing different tricks, Im now 35 years old and i cant remember the brand of my 1st skateboard. Back in the day here in Philippines, skateboarding is not popular in 90's. But now there are bunch of skater.

I used to skate but in middle school but dropped it when I went to high school and now that kind of mellowed out I just want a board thats great for riding around my neighborhood and I’ve been eyeing a penny for a while
even better, the 32 inch penny board rides so much better because i can get a comfier foot position

@@pennyboardtyler yeah, my one problem with penny boards was always my large feet never could get a comfy stance on a 27 inch, but the extra 5 inches on the 32 allows for that slight change i need, plus its wider as well which really helps with handling

I've been skateboarding since a kid for fun
I started skateboarding because in high school my bike was stolen even though it was double locked in a safe place, so I got a skateboard because we were allowed to bring them into the building unlike bikes and started teaching myself how to skateboard. I've always wanted to skateboard since I was a kid anyways so I guess it was a win win!
I am brand new an I don’t plan on packing myself up at the park
