✅Ingredients
1 1/2 tablespoons instant dry yeast
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups warm water
3 tablespoons olive oil
5 cups flour
✅Instructions
1️⃣ In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine yeast, brown sugar, salt, water, and flour.
2️⃣ Knead on low until dough starts to come together. Continue kneading until the dough forms a nice, soft dough ball and the sides of the bowl are clean.
3️⃣ Let rise in a lightly greased bowl, covered, for 1 to 2 hours, until doubled.
4️⃣ Divide the dough into three equal pieces and roll out into pizza crusts.
5️⃣ Place crust on a tray.
6️⃣ Top with desired sauce, cheese, and other toppings.
7️⃣ To bake, preheat a pizza stone in the oven at 500 degrees. Bake until cheese is browning and bubbly, about 10 to 15 minutes.

This is the only pizza dough recipe I use now. I've tried a few before and I couldn't get the right consistency. This is it. The whole family loves how this dough comes out.
This looks like an Amazing pizza crust!!! Thank you for sharing!!
Great idea for easy pizza dough, love it!
My grandsons looove it and so do we. Thank you. ❤
This dough was absolutely delicious and perfect! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe!
Yes! I've been waiting so long for this recipe thank you ❤
I use the online version of this recipe and we absolutely love it!! It doesn't have brown sugar and some of the measurements are a little different, but it hasn't failed me yet. I bake it on a cast iron pizza stone and it gives the crust a nice crunch. I've even added parmesan cheese to the dough to experiment with the flavors. I love how much dough it makes; enough for 2 large pizzas or 8 individual ones; made with our homemade pizza sauce... *chef's kiss*
.
I have a dough recipe but usually have trouble with it. I’m going to try this for sure. I just saved it in my recipe app. Looks delicious!
❤
This is the best recipe, I've tried several others, but now I only make it according to your recipe.
Thanks for this recipe
Oh my can’t wait to make your doe, sauce recipe I can see that all ready going to be fantastic thank you so much for sharing
I tried this a couple days ago and it was so delicious! It was only my husband and toddler plus me who ate. So we froze the other two half’s. Super delicious and quick with no dilly dallying. Loved this so much! Thanks for sharing your yummy recipe 🍕💕
Amezing Pizza dough recipe ❤
I tried it. I finally found a recipe that works. I loved it as well as my family. Thank you. ❤ 😊
I saw this video earlier and realized I had all the ingredients and the time so I made this for dinner tonight. This was awesome and I will absolutely be making this again. Thank you for posting the recipe ♥
Good job
Love that color on you. It matches your skin tone beautifully.😊
I shall try it
This has officially become our family’s go to pizza dough every weekend. Homemade pizzas are so much better than store bought and everyone can make their own!
Aight just tried it tonight very good pizza dough first one I made that actually raised in the oven 😊
Hello can you refrigerate the rest of the dough for x amount of days?
Nice
Im checking how to do a quick dough. This is by far the fastest, but without the machine is it doable? Planning to make a brick oven in the garden. Thanks for sharing 😊❤
Very nice video cause I'm looking for a recipe to try for the first time but have one question it's a dumb one but here it goes, what do you do with the rest of the dough if you don't use it right away? From Alabama
Such an easy recipe. Can this be frozen and at what point?
Now I wanna make me a homemade pizza 🍕😝
Looks great! Was that honey being drizzled on the pizza?
Yes
It took me awhile to find this recipe. I am very happy with it. FABULOUS!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I was wrong! I apoligize! this recipe sucks! I keep trying, but it never works....
Sorry, I was wrong...
I really want to try this but it would be too much dough for my small family. Can this be refrigerated or frozen? What would a shelf life on this be? Maybe I'll make a bunch of pizza pockets! Thanks for the recipe!
I would like to know also.
Freeze it! When you're ready to make pizza again, either place the dough in the fridge a couple days before to thaw out and then before cooking it, place on a baking sheet for 1hr to proof again or take it out the day of and place on a greased baking sheet in an oven turned off with the oven light on. It will reproof.
I'm sure they'll say only freeze for 3 months but I honestly freeze things for awhile 😂
Also, you can make all your pizzas and freeze them, like a frozen pizza. I think they have a recipe for that!
Or just half the recipe?
@@skeeskeedo Thank you so much! I love making freeze ahead anything lol and I do tend to freeze things longer than it's recommended too lol
👍👍👍👍
What type of yeast are you using?
Can you freeze the dough?
😋
Is the dough good for freezing!
I just wanted to say that dough looks smooth asf. That is all lol
That what made me click the video. Lol
@@SaadAli-kp4er جالس تسويها الحين؟
Do you use bread flour or just normal plain flour ?
🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻 Thanks 🍕
Can it be refrigerated for 2 days without freezing?
Did you add honey at the last?
Yay!🎉😂❤
What kind of flour?
Does it freeze?
Lol.. i thought i could smell that dough for a second... thanks for the vid..
Rachel this looks awesome! Wondering if it would refrigerate/freeze well as I regularly need 5 -12 inch pizza's and finding 1 7/8 TBSP of yeast is a bit tedious. :)
Im sure it would. Work at a restaraunt a long time ago where they would get frozen boxes of dough for their buns. All we would do is pull them out frozen and proof them on a covered rack with steaming hot water on the bottom. They would rise at that point. So I would recommend freezing them before letting it rise, just based on my experience with that.
Once you go to live yeast in recipes that call for it, you'll never use a dry yeast ever again! And the cost to make fresh dough is mere pennies. Plus fresh dough beats out frozen 100% of the time!
That is far to much yeast. For that amount of flour you would need at the most like 1 teaspoon. 1 and 7/8 tablespoons is pretty absurd.
I followed everything by step and my dough did not pull away from bowl so I let it go a little longer and it ended up a little more goopy? So I just scooped it out into a oiled bowl to rest but it looked like it was a hard dough like heavy. Maybe too long mixing idk but we'll see 😅
👍
Omg where is the other young lady? I choked when she said you are ready to eat
I love the crust. The only issue is stretching the pizza...can't quite stretch it out enough to fit a 16" pan.. any advice...please and Thank You!
Hello. I am going to try this recipe because I feel like a pizza and all the real Italian pizza dough recipes I have tried so far, I don't manage to get it right. Pizza dough is not an easy thing. This video is not exactly pizza dough but it could be good and I will try as it is easier. With regards to your comment that the dough doesn't stretch, I don't have the answer but I know that in "real" pizza dough, one of the tricky things is to get the dough to a point where we can stretch it and it doesn't come back to the original place: i.e. it is not stretchable. And it's all to do with the right ingredients and "chemistry" process. So maybe, or maybe not, this is what happens to you, just wanted to comment. Hopefully the author will reply to your question.
500 degrees? Man lol. About to try!
Updating: I tried it! Everyone was raving about how soft and chewy the crust was. I just baked on 400. Thank you!
If I use honey instead of the sugar in the recipe, how much honey would I use?
I am the 1,000 like 👍🏾
Do u use all purpose or self rising flour
All purpose. You shouldn’t use self rising flour in yeast doughs.
Can you freeze this pizza dough?
Yes! We have instructions on our website, link in video description.
Can the dough be frozen, if so, for how long?
Did you find an answer if you could freeze them?
Can you make this dough ahead of time and freeze? 🍕
Great Video!! Easy and Uncomplicated...
However, when suggesting to Add Contents into Mixing Bowl, you forgot to mention the Olive Oil is also needed when beginning to combine All of the Ingredients!
It's just something I noticed and is not a huge deal, but to somebody following your recipe To The Letter....
Missing the Olive Oil could definitely foul up someone's Pizza Dough and then give them Self Doubt of being able to make At Home Pizza Dough!!
I'd suggest to you, to go back in and Add on the Olive Oil to the ingredients needed to add to the Mixing Bowl....😂
But A Fantastic Job!!🙏🏾✌🏾👍🏾👍🏾🤣😂
Why brown sugar. Does all pizza dough use brown sugar?
ingredients listed are different from what is shown in the video. for example, video says use 1 tbsp of brown sugar but list says use 1 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar
If you use 00 flour, do you use the same amount?
Yes
Ya but if you’re using 00 flour already you might want to find a recipe that uses it’s potential
Don't roll the outer ring if you want poofy crust perimeter action.
Or just get white bread from the store and mold into a circle
Let us know how that turns out!
Brown sugar??
I think the sugar is to help the yeast. A few cooks I've seen doing that.
Bread flour or all purpose flour?
That’s what I’m trying to find out
Bread flour, as it has the highest gluten content, which basically allows for good dough stretching/elasticity and yeast "utilization". Also, unless you want your pizza dough/crust to taste like a holiday cookie, I would use regular sugar versus brown sugar 👨🍳🍕
The printed recipe does not instruct to add oil to yeast mixture. It only reads to grease a bowl. Hopefully this dough turns out or I wasted a bunch of ingredients.
Wait, you didn't put honey on a pizza, did you?
Where is the chopping board when cutting the dough😮😮😮
Skill issue - I don’t own a mixer so I’ll just order pizza instead 😂
Do you have a hand mixer? That's what I use. Hand mixers are cheaper and I just switch out the top to the one that's more geared for bread dough.
Or just do it by hand? It’s isn’t hard. It’s actually pretty fun
@@JD-uc1es I own a hand mixer what you mean by switching out the ones for bread. Mine has the one attachments. Could be wrong on that.
TABl36, mine is a German kind where you can switch the type of mixer that it stirs with. It has a swirly hook and the regular hand mixer attachment. Mine is called the Braun Multimix. The swirly hook attachments help me make dough since I don't have a big mixer. 🐱
@@JD-uc1es thanks for the info. I will look into that. 👍😎
Why drizzle pizza with honey?
Hot honey is absolutely delicious on pizza!
Have all the ingredients
Except the stand mixture...
Sugar in pizza did i miss that for 5 years working in pizza place 😂😂😂
Probably. Restaurant cooking is entirely different and they often base recipes on keeping costs low rather than always focusing on flavor. It’s why quality homemade always seem to taste so much better. This is especially true for bakeries and doughs.
This video is so 🆒
Never mind it takes 2
Hours 😢
We all know salt kills yeast .. what the helicopter cook are ya doing?
Don’t own a stand mixer or hand mixer 😢.
Yeah, this recipe becomes pretty dang useless if you don’t have a mixer. 🙄 This should be an advertisement for a mixer.
@@MsVamPireChic get off the wallet and buy one
I followed this exactly, but my dough tears.
That’s because the dough uses far too much yeast. It’s too much for the flour to handle causing the gluten in the flour to break down making the dough difficult to stretch. PLUS SUGAR? For that amount of flour it’s probably better to use at most, 1 teaspoon of yeast with no sugar. Kneading it a good bit will go a long way as well.
honey on pizza
Hot honey is a popular addition to pizza, particularly pepperoni pizza.
Hi, I made and followed this pizza dough recipe exactly to the CZcams video and ingredients from the description list all I ended up with is a sticky gluey dough, all I did was waste my time and ingredients. Not happy 🤨.
Add more oil (maybe to ur hands and knead it) and if it’s gluey just add more flour :)
please use grams. I've fucked up so many youtube recipes by adding 8oz (1 cup) of some ingredient. Powders are compressible.
Metric measurements for all of our recipes are available on our website via the link in the video description.
OMG! 1 1/2 “tablespoons“ of yeast? That’s a ridiculous amount!
IS IT NECESSARY TO SHOW US YOUR RING, I MEAN COME ON REALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m an introvert. Whoever enjoyed that slice of pizza with honey, thanks for making me feel less weird. 💗🥹👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾
Hot honey on pepperoni pizza is where it’s at!
