- Star Citizen has opened its 'tech preview' channel, granting access to Pyro, the next Star System coming in a future Star Citizen update. As an early tester, this video encompasses my first day's Pyro gameplay surviving this new, dangerous frontier.

I'm convinced Patch City was a sort of vault experiment by CIG to make sure a portion of the testers understood the assignment 😂
Are you talking about the no armistice habs? I am glad they did it, for many are crying for the armistice to go away not realizing crazy people play games too. It was fun leaving my hab guns blazing, however.
I hope they leave it as is and make it a choice like it is now
@@watermelon58And they add reputation to the game AND make sure the NPC's are very high strung and protective of their sphere of influence and have no time or patience for outsiders starting a war on their turf...
When you are allowed to land on cartel controlled territory, you play nice with the locals...or they introduce you to mr chainsaw and acid bath.
@@niklasdahlgren7641 Lol don't get your hopes up, these gangs are so disorganized & ineffective that you run missions against their rivals in the very same space stations; expecting them to have some sort of tight & ready response to player interaction is a stretch, especially in a NullSec system three times the size of Stanton with no comm arrays. NPC's will not interfere with the vast majority of PVP interactions simply because they literally don't have the capability to do so; as such, Pyro will always be a system where you need to watch your own back before depending on anyone else.
If that's too much for you, stay out of Pyro.
@@NykandrosWhat makes you think the NPC gangs are disorganized? Because they do not react in that miniature slice of Pyro that we can test that lacks a lot of core mechanics?
And sure, there are no official comm arrays...but what makes you think that large pirate groups that OWN a system...do not have their own satellites to spy on things?
How else would they keep track and intercept ships entering and leaving the system...

pyro will be amazing when it's in but when players can build their structures it will be amazing to see how player habs and hangers will populate the verse. you'll be making friends or enemies with your neighbors

4:18 mark im 99% positive that is me and my guys in my HH that blew up the fuel tanks if that is in fact from the first day towards the back end of the test session. I was streaming all that too. Pyro is amazing 😂

I hope CIG adds some kind of dynamic mission by some gang, RnR for example to deal with habitation massacres😂
i tried it out on tuesday it was fun but laggy at times we did a mission on pyro 1 where it gets up to 300 degrees Celsius we land to do our mission and some banu ship comes and kills our ship while we are doing our mission so we sit there waiting for rescue and kill anyone else who comes to do a mission lol

Actually the fuel tanks can be destroyed with small arms fire -- another streamer tested it (can't remember which one, though, I think it was Kate/will?)
Oh really? Thanks for the heads up, was it with Railguns though or rifles?
@DTOXTV Not sure if they were using railguns but they were definitely using a bunch of FS9s. It took a little while but the AOE from the explosion was actually pretty big and incapacitated everyone in the area (who were on the ground and near the fuel tank).

Not yet. We likely won't see it until the next rendition! Definitely much needed.

@@nahuelcutrera The test servers are not there for “seeing Pyro for the 1’st time” They are not there to satiate ppl’s curiosities. They are there for testing and PVP has to be tested because they don’t work well.
The devs need the PVP data from Pyro!!

Imagine saying that and watching a video that literally shows the game playable and people having fun while the AAA game industry for years has alot of shitty, broken, unfinished games, with I might add insane requirements on hardware.
@@retrowrath9374 exactly, and how long do these AAA games take to make? Just as long as star citizen and S42 and they don’t have to build their companies and studios from the ground up. Some ppl just have no clue what it takes to make games like this.
So I haven’t spent that much but I absolutely understand it. I mean you pay ten dollars a month for subscription services right? So even if you just took ten dollars a month and spent it on a game you like instead, which is essentially nothing, then after ten years you will have spent over a thousand dollars.
