some of us can barely type with both hands in front of us on the keyboard, and here is this dude with a musical keyboard in either hand. Him and Keith Emerson are/were amazing to watch.
Blows me away. Top keyboardist .1 %, Brilliant Saw Yes 5 times in Temple University , Spectrum , Philadelphia . I gravitated to them . I became a Professional Dancer! Lots of classical ballet. I dream if Rick would come to one if my Master Classes. I can always dream as he blow me back with his solo work.
Can anyone provide a breakdown of this brilliant medley? Madrigal off tormato, saw somewhere else a piece "gone but not forgotten"?? And what is 2.48 onwards 6 wives excerpt on steroids? Cheers
No matter how often I watch and listen, he leaves you stunned in every aspect. 👏👏👏
No one comes close to this guy. Such a talent!!
Rick is one of the few musicians whose playing can bring tears to my eyes and make the hair on my arms stand up at the same time.

One of the greatest rock/jazz/pop keyboardists of all time
My dad sat me down and made me watch this video a ton of times growing up. It's been a long time since I have seen it and it still blows me away!

Sure beats one guy on stage scratching LP's !!
Does this particular solo go with a song, or is it him just rockin' out?
nice solo. if you like fast fingers and perfection playing, also watch glenn gould.
+Mike Anderson Glenn who? :))
Man, Wakeman is soooo much more than "quick fingers".
And Kit Watkins from Happy the Man (also his debut solo album with Coco Roussell, from 1980)
Anyone know which concert this is and if there's a full version available?

Genial! Extraordinário Ricky! Incomparável! Fico arrepiada ouvindo este músico divino! Transcendental.
His fingers are lightning fast
Lightning is too slow to use as a measure.🙂
What is the first piece he plays?
His own composition "Madrigal", from Yes's LP "Tormato".
I wish there was a way to filter out the *ANNOYING* whistle from the audience that occurs at 3:41/42!

LOL! I never caught this as many times as I've listened to it. :)
This is the flavour of the pure sound, without treatment... In a time where, or you were a musician, or not
You saddo
he also done a duff not at the end of a track on the live in nottingham album
So Maestro and 'Critic Extraordinaire' - what does "he also done a duff not" mean - haha
