Synth Master, thanks for the music Mr Wakeman, my dad used to love your music and played it to us kids regularly. He gone now, but alot of his memory lives on in your music every time i hear it
I had the good fortune to sing (as a member of the English Chamber Choir) on the original 1975 Album, and later, the Three nights at Wembley Arena (On Ice!). Rick had decided to re-record Arthur as a Double Album (which he had always envisaged, but A&M records had disallowed in 1975). In April of 2016 (IIRC) we duly did so at Angel Studios London. A few weeks later, Rick Headlined it at the StoneFree Festival at the O2 Arena here in London. I urge ANYONE to seek out the expanded version. Rick has filled out the story with some new characters and some great new Tracks which dovetail nicely with the original content. Rick is a commensurate performer and it's always a delight to share a stage with him . . .

I gree up listening to all his recordings ...greetings from Medellín, Colombia .... agree : Rick is a unique musician ... I surely believe he descended from those magic celtic/briton realms of fantasy & musicianship ... next to all her piers : Bowie ... Genesis´....Yes´.... PFloyd´s ...ElPalmer´s ...etc ...

Lives and Breathes his work, as all true geniuses do. Saw Rick at Wolverhampton Civic Hall mid 70's on the "Myths and Legends Tour", people were hanging off the rafters to see " The True Born King of all England" perform!!!
After 41 years of listening to this album.... I have never seen it performed and am blown away by this video............ Thank you for giving me 41 years of your art Rick
We were fortunate to see him on tour in '74 with Journey to the Center of the Earth - a smaller presentation than some - the Rochester War Memorial isn't that big.
AWESOME!!!!
Brilliant. This actually made my eyes water! Glad to see Rick still favors the Mini-Moog above the more modern multi-voice keyboards. Hope he´ll still rock for a good many more years.
This is the Rick Wakeman I grew up listening to and loving and kissing every album of his after playing them in the middle of all the YES stuff he did! Absolutely amazing.
Oh...I sooo enjoyed this!!! Brings back great memories of the earlier years of rock. The aged generation..... Rick Wakeman!! Wow!! What a talent!! ....and hats off to this fantastic drummer....from this generation!!!
Show.
Ladies and gentleman, Bruce Springsteen on drums! Beautiful song. Love everything here, but first of all keyboards and vocals. The sound is great. This perfornace is the best version of this composition, IMHO.
I remember the movie " Excalibur " from John Boorman, with this theme in soundtrack. I`ve seen him alive on a show in Lisbon, at Coliseu Theater, performing. Unforgettable !
An album recorded in the days when the album sleeve alone worth the purchase. I spent many a happy hour listening to MALOKAAHKOTRT and reading the sleeve and admiring the art work. It is still my favourite Rick album of all time. I have been lucky to see him a dozen times or more over the years and tracks from Arthur are always amazing. I have the Live in Cuba DVD and would encourage any Wakeman fan to make sure it is in their collection. The extras are also great entertainment. Considering that Tony Fernandez was unavailable at the last minute (I recall he broke a limb or something just before the tour).... Lee Pomeroy did an amazing job getting Ashley Soan up to speed. I think Dave Calquhoun really adds to this production. As implied in another thread, the band arrangement really stands up against the full orchestral versions of many of the tracks. Oh and Ashley Holt... one word...Legend! ...and no words can describe the work of the man himself. Thanks Rick for such awesome music. !

Lee Pomaroy is a genius on bass. He does not miss a note. One of my favorite bass players ...
