I just ordered one strictly for the mip display and world time. I don't care about Bluetooth or activity tracking. I guess I'll have to buy another one when they come out with a tough solar version.
Update: I bought the teal version. The display is fantastic. The watch is slightly larger than my 5610U and not quite as comfortable. The strap ends are quite a bit longer but the keeper holds them ok. I want to wear it but I find myself still reaching for the 5610 in the morning. I don't think anything can match it for ultimate daily beater.
@@toddsmith8608 Thanks for that update, I'm looking around to cheat on my 5610 as THE beater but can't justify it so far
@@H0kram yeah, 5610 is tough to beat
Dang i have everything on for this watch. I love the notifications. But yes i will always love my 5610u more.
Same here
This is a cool g shock . love the blue band and case and dial layout and it's features
Superb watch. Just purchased the grey one. 😊
Not sure yed but i think im gonna buy it the only thing i dislike is the battery only last 2 or 3 years but other than that is perfect for work out .
uau..muito lindo. será meu próximo 🙏
Thanks for the recommendation! 😊 Just bought one too 😍 Am I going to need a screen protector to avoid display scratches?
Well that convinced me.
How can I set it to show the time and daily steps?
1 is the only display that makes sense to me unless for some reason you had to see world time and local time at the same time but I feel like once you know the time difference you kinda have an Idea of what time it is in said other area idk more a gimic than a need but still a cool feature
I've been wearing my DW 5610SU every day for the past three years, this DW H5600 would be the perfect upgrade❤.
It really is!
How is it going ?
I have a question how frequently you have to charge it and did you replace the batteries?
Please reply I want to buy this
Currently I’m wearing Casio GD100
@@AdityaSingh-ds5si the battery is not rechargeable. Almost 4 years and still working fine.
@@fwfindawan1481 Okay thank you soo much ☺️
Such a cool looking watch with brilliant features
agreed
Thanks
No problem
how to change the display?
I just want that screen and not all the functions maybe tough solar instead
Add a step bar for the day to the basic time screen!
Just got it
nice! which colour?
Is there an option to display the 24h time on top of the standard 12h time. I swore i saw someone’s gbd have it.
Yes you can. On the time display mode. Press the top left button for few seconds. After that select Time adjustment > 12/24H
@@psychogeek8157 hey sorry, i meant to show it at the same time. I prefer 12h. But instead of the world time option on the top half. Was hoping to have 24h show.
Wow
Would you recommend this for a student on a budget? I'm torn between this and the GA2100, I could save a pretty penny buying that but I like the MIP display on this, even though I really don't need the fitness stuff my phone tracks that just fine. The digital display on the GA feels a bit too small to be any useful
The display on the GA is definitely on the small side. I love this watch a lot; it’s the bedtime negative display I’ve used no question. I think you’d be pretty happy with this one personally
For a student, get the f105/w86 or a168/a700 instead.
Definitely wouldn't recommend any G-Shock at this stage of your life, as it's more of an enthusiast watch brand, and not really budget friendly.
There are plenty of budget Casio watches you could get, which would have all the features you would realistically need, without costing too much.
I recommend the Casio Royale (World Time) or any of the Illuminators (like the MI1 watch).
Casio G-Shock GW-M5610U-1ER, not MIP, but if you don't like to change battery every several months, I recommend this one.
Why there is no display with moonphase or sun rise/sun down time? :(
Cool watch, but would prefer the watch to just tell time and the other horological functions instead of Bluetooth pairing and notifications.
I would choose one of Casio’s other 10,000 watches in that case
Thanks to bluetooth, the time is always accurate.
I love Casio 🙂👍🏻 but i prefer the old school ones
Ok, we just have to wait for the option with a solar battery.
I would love that
Yea the 2 yr battery isn’t so great, but I wonder if shutting off the Bluetooth will allow it to last much longer?
Get some tools, open it, change the battery. Solved
@@OscarGonzalez-pr5gi Do it yourself. I want to buy a watch and forget about changing batteries for 15 years. More questions?
2 minute battery change, no issues
Where did you get this bright blue color? I can only find it in a darker navy. I'm looking at the GBD-200-2JF and it looks way darker than this. What model is this one?
just the blue variant, when I bought it there was only one blue option
Its the lighting
how do i get it back to POSITIVE DISPLAY pls?
This watch doesn’t have that option
Hi man!
Is the light uniform or one the sides looks a little bit brighter?
Quite uniform on this one
There are reports of mip displays failing exactly starts off like this
Dam that thing got Bluetooth lol
they have a number with Bluetooth surprisingly
The only big draw back is the battery
You gotta replace it for at least every 1.5 years
I've had one for 2.5 years and haven't had to change the battery yet. I do keep the bluetooth off though and just use it as a basic digital watch
@@bluequiltednessthe point is that the gshock was supposed to have 3 ten (how it started) one ten was battery life
Which you might be aware of , so It's neither the typical g shock nor the smart g shock with charger and all
It stays in middle which ain't good
Time is money
for sure!
And this time piece costs alot of money........... Well........... At least for me though🤔
200 2DR or 200 1DR .. which is the latest and which is good ?
Sorry I’m not positive about that, I only have this model
Kinda curious if the display have sleep mode when not using the watch?
Doesn’t have one that I can find, mine has been sitting for a few days and it’s still on
It goes to sleep mode during midnight to early mornings.@@sneakypetesproductreviews
@@externalpoint861 not if you're wearing it
@@sneakypetesproductreviews you are right
@@externalpoint861 I think you're right too though, if you don't wear it for some time I believe it goes into power saving mode
I bought it 5min ago🙂
nice I hope you love it
@@sneakypetesproductreviews Yes, im surprised of the weight and stiffness of that case czcams.com/users/shortsvLdVvFxp1q8?feature=share
How much it cost ?
@@RM-pg4js 110€
Is it water proof?
It is
A square with a MIP display that has Tough Solar and Multi-band 6 is what every G-Shock enthusiast wants.
There's no need for any other fancy features and sensors, just basic timekeeping and time related functions.
If only Casio would just make a watch like that...
I agree
The steps counting is NOT at all accurate tho.. altho an awesome watch, i returned it to buy the GM2100
Would you be able to show us how it performs as an activity tracker?
Id like to know how accurate it is on a run compared to an app such as Strava.
In my testing so far it has been quite close to my Apple Watch, the pace is almost identical to what it tells me on my Apple Watch, but I will be testing it more!
Какая батарейка в этих часах?
sorry I'm not sure I haven't had to change it yet
Is there any analog screen mode?
not on this one, digital only
I like turtles
