    Heya, I'm Finn and I suffer from pretty bad anxiety. I've been okay this past while, but this morning I woke from a nightmare in the midst of a panic attack. I haven't had a nightmare in fifteen years, and I've been trying to come up with an idea for a university project. Well. This is it. You are going to experience my anxiety, from getting up, to coming home from class.
    I wouldn't recommend watching this if you have easily triggered anxiety yourself, just as a precaution.

  • @haileyfitz378
    @haileyfitz378 Před 6 lety +365

    Mine is kind of different. I don't hear silence all the time. I mostly hear myself telling me that I'm basically worthless and then other people voices say it as well (close people) and I can always feel people watching me, even if I'm completely alone I still feel someone watching me. I also start shaking every now and then and I've also got a small skin condition that makes my skin kinda look like scales so I almost always have like a hoodie to cover my arms and hands. Every time I walk into a room I look for exits just in case. And whatever I'm wearing, I can always feel someone judging me for what I'm wearing. I always think my music is too loud in my headphones so I turn it down to where I can almost not hear it. When I'm nervous/anxious I usually mess with the sleeve of my hoodie, my jeans, or my shorts. And I also spin like a pencil or pen if I've got one. I'll never be the first one to open food if it's in a package and I'll never be the last to finish it(still don't know why). I'm always observing everything, anything anybody does I will see what they're doing. Even if it's just small stuff but for some reason I just need to know what people are doing around me. I always try to opt out of doing anything in front of a crowd, large or small. But basically the breathing and heartbeat and constantly looking around was the only thing similar to mine.

    Take it from someone with actual anxiety disorder. This is pretty accurate. It’s that constant feeling of having an elephant sitting on your chest. And your senses become so overactive and sensitive that it makes your brain rattle. And you worry about every little thing. Like if someone you care about was to leave your house or their house you worry that they will get hit by a car or murdered in some way. And then you hate yourself for being so worried about them. Anxiety is very hard to live with. But not impossible

Dealing with emotional, physical abuse from everyone all my life, I'm always on edge and on the lookout for people trying to bully me or if I fail at something, it's a tragic thing because failing or messing up in any way wasn't an option growing up. Because it meant beatings, mean things said to me, and bullying.

I hyper focus on things and it feels like I see and hear everything that’s going on around me like an overload of panic based on things that COULD go wrong. Sometimes I find myself planning every possible solution to any situation that could happen to me. It’s exhausting and it’s so normalized and played down in society

      SG, Reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety. For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. Slowly the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Day or night, when taking a walk, when reading, on the phone, before sleep etc sit or lie down and observe your breath. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

    I felt like the person in the POV was constantly staring at corners and "closed" spots which make you feel like your sight is restrained (you can't see any wider than a spot), and this caused a sensation that anything could be around you and something was going to happen. Is that what it was supposed to convey?

      Gihad Soares
      For me,it makes my chest tighten up,like something is pushing it in. My stomach knots up,and I can't eat. I think people are out to get me when in out walking around,and I look around every corner and street as I walk. I get shaky,sometimes to the point where I can't even take a sip of water without making a mess. I get berry irritable,and it makes my deppresion worse. Anxiety is constant fear for your life,everyone experiences it differently. You will even question your own loved ones,even someone you've been with for years. Mix on some ptsd, tourettes,adhd,and depression,and you have a cocktail of a whole different world. It's berry difficult,especially when your expected to work under these conditions,and be with the norm of aociety,and wondering why everyone is judging you,even though no one really is. It's a ball of crazy that I would never wish on my worst enemy. I hope this answered your qeustion?

    I don’t know if I have anxiety but some days, usually on the bus on my way to school, I’ll get so nervous that I get really bad cramps in my stomach and I can barely breathe, and I can feel my heart pounding and hear it through my ears. I also play with my hands, I’m shakey, and I avoid talking to anyone or making eye contact with anyone unless I’m friends with them or I know them really well. Is that anxiety, or is it different for everyone??

      Tarun, Reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice.
