Holy ****! This was a great video for all Follett's lovers out here! Thanks for that! My first Follett was "Code to Zero" which is just amazing, and I recommend it to everyone! Cheers from Brazil, and thanks for the video and all the amazing energy that you put in it.
7:55 Hammer of Eden is my absolute favorite of his. Definitely made reading in high school more fun to me, and the plot has stayed in my brain ever since.
Thanks for this video, I'm not a great reader but I am addicted to Ken Follett's stuff, It all started when I was tidying and found two big books in my wife's waist paper bin "Pillars Of The Earth" and " World With Out End" I accidentally started with the wrong one, People sometimes moan about the size of his books, but even though I'm a very slow ready and find concentration difficult, I love that the books are long as I find I enjoy them so much I don't want them to end.
I have been watching this channel for nearly four months now. What I love the passion for books and authors. I compare it with the Fandom of comics. Like yourself, I am a Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy fan. But I am deep Ian Fleming fan too. Currently I am getting to the roots with Graham Greene and having great fun with Alistair MacLean. Have a good one and keep it up 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾BTW, your vid on protecting books with dust jackets was very helpful too.
My absolute favorite author to read. Jk rowling introduced me to how wonderful reading is but Follett completely blew my mind when I first discovered him. Started with pillars and his character development just blew me away. Kingsbridge series, man from st. Petersburg, keys to Rebecca (very underrated), and just finishing his century trilogy. Absolutely love Follett
Just figured I'd update this since I stumbled across this video again. I've finished the century trilogy and since this post have read the evening and the morning which is up there now as one of my favorites from him, night over water, eye of the needle (loved this book), and a dangerous fortune (amazing book). Read some other stuff for awhile as I started the Dresden series and read the wager which was an amazing book, but I'm finding my way back to follett. Just started Never and I have the armour of light, whiteout, the third twin and a place called freedom ready to go on the shelves.
Just finishing with World Without End, Column of Fire and Century trilogy waiting in queue. Land called freedom was my introduction to Ken Follett, then I got Pillars of the Earth last Christmas (I loved it although I new the story because I watched the TV series). Love Ken Follett since then.
Seems to be a writer with diverse talents 🤔 bold decision, turning in a 1200 page historical fiction when he was on his way to become an internationally famous thriller writer. Perhaps I'll check out the mystery book.
I'm yet to finish The Century trilogy. I loved Fall of Giants and Winter of the World. When i finish the third book, i'll read his Kingsbridge series (already have those novels) and his thrillers.

How do you like the man from St. Petersburg? I found it for 25 cents at a charity shop and grabbed it.
I'm yet to finish The Century trilogy. I loved Fall of Giants and Winter of the World.
