  • The route so nice we had to do it twice. Brian and Jon return to Vermont to ride the Green Mountain Gravel Growler route, this time with Jeremy, Adam and Sam. The group-of-five tackle the 255-mile route in three days, with one night of camping behind a brewery and another night of sleeping in a church basement. Watch along to see some of the best general stores in New England and eat and drink vicariously with the gang throughout the entire route.

Gas station with the dogs is 30 seconds from my office and I stop there a few times a week. Gotta do this ride this year

Sick! We went there both years. Solid stop and the dogs were a plus. We’re hoping to ride up that way a few times this year.

What a cool trip. That 23% climb though would have had me walking. Kudos to the folks at Waitsfield United Church of Christ for letting you kids crash there. Oh, and gee thanks, now I want donuts.

Fun to watch you guys do this loop. I'm beginning the route from Middlebury, where I live, the day after tomorrow, psyched for beers, donuts and all the rest, cheers!

Inspired by the first video I did the route with my son last summer on the 'heat wave' weekend. We slept out 4 nights - above Waterbury, at the lake at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, above Norwich and behind the Fire Station in Bristol. We started and ended with 30 mile days, doing 3 60 mile days in the middle. Defintely gonna try to do it again this summer. Your video bought back so many memories. The smell of the Bbq at Lost Nation. Thanks.

I watched your first video of this route last year, and did a modified version that cut out the hike-a-bike portions. It was mid-June and I was so lucky to have great weather. 4 days to do it. I had to walk two pitches of Lincoln Gap!

Park and ride just north of Burlington in Colchester.
