Yes and all vag cars engine from 1.0 L to 2.0 tsi/tdi make 250 on speedo ::))
it's just recycling gages ! especially VW polio and golf caddy ! same generation have the same !

@@Shuffler131 I have a 2.0 SDi in the fleet.. It has gone 374.000 km since new in 2004. Never had a failure or anything. So yeah very unreliable indeed :D

You know what would be cool? If you were to test more old 1 liter cars like Corsa B, Fiesta MK2, cars like that... We all know that Audis and Mercedes do well, but it's a surprise to see old, low power cars do their best, like when you tested the Polo 6N... It was pretty cool.

Da wusste man noch genau wo und wann die Post kommt. Immer Motor an und aus, das hörte man über zwei drei Straßen. Da denk ich gerne dran zurück, war eine Tolle Zeit für die Diesel Autos. Jetzt wo man Geld verdient und sich was kaufen könnte, gibts nur noch rotz an Motoren oder der E quatsch. Danke für die Nostalgie.

Well. My Father put 600000 kms into his 2.0 PD SDI caddy. And he had to replace the clutch that ime first.
Injectiors are original. Cylinder head never removed.
Perfect engine if you don't want to go faster than 110 kmph.

To reduce production costs. They use the same speedo in the base model and in the fastest model.

Habe selber einen Caddy 1.9 TDI und bin sehr zufrieden.
Das aber SDI ohne Turbo nur Sauger noch robuster bzw unkaputtbarer und sparsamer

I have Golf 5 with SDI 2.0. No one understand me when i say the throttle is binary, like 0 or 1. You either floor it or don't touch it because keeping it in half position is useless.

Sehr Toll. Endlich haben Sie den VW Caddy versucht. Es wäre besser, wenn Sie es nochmal mit dem 1.9 Tdi (105 PS) Motor versuchen. Ich denke das Auto wird mit mehr als 200 km/h fahren.
Ein 105 PS Caddy fährt nicht über 200kmh

Certainly not a good engine choice for motorways, but to be honest I find the 0-80 pretty respectable for a reliable, economical small-ish work van.

Die vw sdi motoren schaffen sehr oft 500 000 bis 1millionen km ohne Teschniche propleme ,einige verbrauchen bei 90 kmh gerade mal 3 l/100km. Das sind die sparsamsten und dabei langlebigsten Motoren der Welt. Auch extrem langlebig sind die BMW 3000ccm v6 diesel, da gibt es auch viele mit weit über 1 million km, dazu reichlich Leistung und sparsamster verbrauch ca 5 liter 100/km sind möglich bei durchaus über 300 ps.

Es wurde nur ein Tacho verbaut für alle Versionen. Immerhin gab es den 2L TDI Caddy Mal mit 170PS!
Why rev it so hard ? You can get into top gear in a 100 yds. I had a SDi van.
