    That's just so cool. It's like everything seems normal at first (well normal for olympic level athletes), but then she has enough time for that extra twist at the end and you realize that she was really jumping from an uncomfortably high place.

    I'm wondering about the reason for entering the water feet first rather than head first?

      It's because of the height she jumps from. From x distance to the water onwards, water starts to feel more like a solid surface, and going head first from the height she was jumping from can quite literally break your neck, thats why feet go in first, toes at that, from that distance, falling with flat feet on the water can also make you break a leg no problem.

      Up to 10 meters they enter head first. At 20 meters and above head first could cause major injuries so they go feet first.

      At 20 meters height you reach a speed of 70 km/h before u hit the water.
      Cliff divers cant jump all day every day because they would destroy their body’s.
      Yea… its like a huge suckerpunch to the top of the head which will leave you braindamaged if you do it to often.
