    May I recommend if you wish to add a DSP get one "Integrated" with an amp. Because using RCA cables to connect components that use a digital/fiber optics connections (Toslink) with analog RCA connections defeats the purpose of a DSP. And the problem is, 99% of car audio amplifiers do not have digital connections. A really good substitute if you want to make your system stand out from others is get a powered signal booster with an active crossover (and filters), or even some EQ's can do the same. From the head unit the signal is only 1-3 volts. By increasing voltage to 6-9 volts using a signal processor you get a lower distortion, more powerful signal to the amp where the amp runs cooler and will perform better. Like $35-$60. It really will give you a much better SQ system doing that.

    I'm using Infiniti dsps also have there subs amps and components speakers through my truck. I got a 2015 double cab Silverado. And it sounds amazing!

      Also, I was just about to say it's the same as jbl dsp. And is six or eight channels to other amplifiers before they even go to my speakers they just get the sound processed there and that was little bit of watts so that it ends up bumping it up is nothing. Yeah I run them into the high level on my other Infinity amps and then boom. It's a. It's a magician's wand but I've got mine for way way cheaper than that. I got mine refurbished but I do love it. Its def sq an not spl

    I took a long look at the Alpine. I like the power, and the option to run the stronger channels at 4 ohms.
    Just starting my SQ system, need to balance my Morel SC subs.
    Matchup is the entry level of Audiotec group (Brax, Helix. Matchup)

      @@CarAudioEnthusiasts Yeah, I’m looking at 8 channels or better because my car has 10 speakers.
      Maybe run the four rears with crossovers, and the six up front active.
      Good lookn out👍

      The power ratings on that Alpine unit are little fishy. You'll note that it uses a single 40 amp fuse which is not even close to the rated power of 900 watts. You'll also note in the specs that the power ratings don't show at what distortion level it was measured.
      The whole thing is quite suspect. My guess would be that the real power ratings are going to be closer to 25w x 6 and 150 X 2 at 2 ohm. Basically 450 watts. That would be more in line with that 40 amp fuse.
      I don't think anybody has actually dynoed it or tested the power, but its very fishy to me. I'm a fan of Alpine, so I hope they aren't trying to pull a fast one on people.

    I have everything from Alpine only the crossover is from Dynamics and the tweeters are from infinity like 1000 watts, 10 speakers of which 1 is a 3-way system and the rest are 2-way systems, and 3 boosters in my car and the sound is great

    Would you mind doing a video on 10 channel dsp/amps? Those are much harder for me to find

    A higher SNR is better. MATCH is one of the brands of the German company Audiotec Fischer.

      you are correct, I miss spoke, thank you for pointing this out!

    • @JasonWW2000
      @JasonWW2000 Před 4 měsíci

      Yes, but they also need to list at what power the SNR was measured at. Normally it would be measured at 1 watt and anything around 75 or 80 dB is acceptable and common.
      I think the JL VX800 is the only one listing SNR at 1w. I'm pretty sure the other three are going to be listing it at either full power or half power which gives them a better looking number, but it's quite deceptive. I bet the JL is the quietest.

    • @d.r8425
      @d.r8425 Před 4 měsíci

      @@JasonWW2000 The JL at highest rated power is 99db. The MATCH is 104db.

    • @JasonWW2000
      @JasonWW2000 Před 4 měsíci

      @@d.r8425Yes, but like I said, those numbers are deceptive and irrelevant. For SNR you always want to look at the 1 watt rating.
