DJI Software Bricked my iMac

I wanted to update the firmware on my DJI Ronin-S gimbal, so installed DJI Pro Assistant software on my iMac and it bricked my computer! Total failure. Here's the quick story of how I recovered from the crash and how my computer backup system saved the day.
Lesson 1 - Use an automated backup tool like Time Machine.
Lesson 2 - Keep a disk clone of your main computer so you can keep working during recovery.
