- The chicken livers are so tender, mild in flavor, and very delicious. You can make this recipe in only 12 minutes.

✔️ 1 medium onion
✔️ 2 tsp minced garlic

✔️ ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

I am on a very low budget, and so I’m looking for super foods to feed myself while I don’t have a lot of money. Found out that liver is pretty much a superfood and an antioxidant and even potentially antiviral! So I’m trying out, and this is going to be my first recipe. I’ll let you know how it turns out! It looks delicious!

So I tried this recipe and it's amazing. I soaked the chicken livers in 2% milk for 24 hours and didn't skimp on the spices. Make sure you also don't overcook. Better then my best beef liver.Only thing better could of been adding crispy bacon.
I almost soaked mine in milk because I read about a funny taste they might have but nope it wasn't the case with the chicken livers I bought. Only thing I didn't have was celery salt. But it still turned out just as good.

Brilliant! So tasty and really tender, I realise that I have always overcooked them before. I don't know if it made any difference but I added the spices etc. to the livers after I had washed and dried them and left them to marinate in the fridge for a while, just because I wanted to do the prepping in advance. Thank you so much, I will be looking up your other recipes 🙂

Hi, how long does it roughly take for the chicken Livers to be fully cooked?
it's best to cook them just about 3 to 4 minutes each side. That should be enough to brown them but not overcook 😊

You never add salt while you cook the liver! You will ruin them!You add salt ONLY at the end
Do remember that all livers have high levels of Cholesterol....... Limit to them as a treat once or twice a month.
