I hate having anything gas near me. Fortunately, there isn't any near me, so I'm safe. Where I live there have been like 3 house explosions due to gas tanks in recent years.
your chances of dying from an electrical fire in your home, is 1000X higher than a gas explosion. How would you know there isn't gas near you?? Do you really know which neighbors have hidden propane tanks?? (like this house that blew up)
With the current push to ban gas I would expect to see more and more of these coincidences. I wonder if this was one of the houses sitting empty after being snatched up for cheap by international investment companies during the pandemic.
This is weird because just say a similar house explosion on video that happened two months ago in Virginia also, the police screaming come out with your hands up and than 💥 the house exploded. I don't know if they caught this guy if not than there you go.
Terrorists have to be more careful when building Bombs in the basement as Sorry there is no way that any ordinary explosive mixture can take out an entire house like that unless what Terrorists can have excess too and should be the first thought to be investigated upon and the second was it was a large tank of explosive gas that could have been in the basement for heating?
This wasn’t because of gas. There is a dirty rat here. Fire department was on scene 40 mins before the explosion. What did they do? And why cut power the explosion would have consumed any gas in neighborhood. I’ve worked around gas leaks all the time and they don’t explode like this.

Same thing happened to a house in South Riding killing the family some years ago.
this is why I wont have gas lines into my house.
I'd never live in a place with gas lines near. No one should. No way I'd risk my life and my loved ones and live in constant fear.
LOL.. what about Electrical Lines ... which cause 50,000+ house fires and 500 deaths each year .. vs a couple hundred gas explosions.

There was one in our neighborhood yesterday but none was reported. Not even the local news. As if the people that live in that house has no value.

500 gallon in ground propane tank was leaking ... probably installed to heat the swimming pool. Yes, Zillow said Heat Pump / Electric house heating.
