    Thanks for this! I was bashing my head against how to control a multislider with an LFO and this answered my question. Great vid, mc. is a revelation! I'm now messing with gaining more control over the LFO, I'd like to keep the upper frequencies quieter than the lower, and such. Cheers!

    I sincerely hope this is one of the first and that there are many on the MC world. your videos and your voice are like a drug in the best sense of the word. Grazie 😊

    Thanks for this - very useful! By the way, just to let you know that you can replace that whole ‘route→pack’ section with a single object, ‘mc.makelist’

    I've only just started following your mc tutorials, they are great and very clear on how to build upon these ideas. I'm guessing this is a basic question, but how on earth do you get the popup screen to appear when you hover over a multichannel patchcord. It's so usefull but I can't seem to find how to toggle it. Thanks!

    hello!
    how do you see the output of an object under the mouse cursor?

  • @TheProgManTimSTR

    Nicely done! Thanks for the help.
    Have you considered building a resynthesis ensemble from that additive synth? That would be an amazing project with the mc objects!

    In this situation, how would you block the higher channels of the mc.cycle so they don't go above the nyquist frequency?

    • @HearingGlass
      @HearingGlass  Před 3 lety +1

      One way would be to split the output of mc.sig~ generating the frequencies with [mc.unpack 10], apply tap.split~ on each individual channel to filter out Fn and above, and repack the MC signal with [mc.pack 10].
      Anyway, in this patch your base frequency would need to be above ~2.2kHz to cause aliasing.

      @@HearingGlass what is tap.split~

      @HearingGlass  Před 3 lety +1

      @@vojkofau It is the MSP version of split. Check out its help file ;)

    Great tutorial, I just don't understand why when I do it the harmonics are panned slightly to te left and right in alternating order? which object is making this happen?

    • @HearingGlass
      @HearingGlass  Před rokem +1

      That is how mc.mixdown~ handles the panning of each voice when mixing MC signals to stereo. You can control this with the second inlet of the object - check the help file.
