    great tutorial, congratulations! very clear explanation, good sound quality of your voice, slow clear talking, and very didactic. Excellent work, very much appreciated!

    ...would it be possible to have multiple sound sources for the mc.groove object?

    • @HearingGlass
      @HearingGlass  Před rokem +1

      It would! You can send mc.groove~ the message "setvalue [channum] name [bufname]", where [channum] would be the number of the channel you are targeting and [bufname] would be the name of the buffer you are setting that channel to.

    Hi Thanks for the video. If I have 6 channels inputs and 6 channels outputs on my audio interface. Can I change the classic stereo to multichannel ?
    thanks

    • @HearingGlass
      @HearingGlass  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Absolutely: You can either work with 6 channels from the beginning, or use mc.mixdown to mix the resulting audio signal to 6 channels instead of 2.

    hi, can I ask what's the relationship between speaker and channel? can I use more than 1 channel in 1 speaker and is there any benefit of doing that? Thanks a lot

    • @HearingGlass
      @HearingGlass  Před rokem +1

      Speaker is your sound output: If you have two speakers or stereo headphones, the audio will go to the left and right channels of your output system. In a multichannel signal there is more than one channel, but the output has to be the same amount of channels your sound output supports. That is why I take the multichannel signal and mix it down to two channels for output.
      The multichannel signals are for "calculating" and generating the sound, the two channel output is for hearing the resulting sound through the speakers.

    Particularly to know the messages like "increment" I can pass into mc objects.

    where is the previous video you say in the video?

    • @HearingGlass
      @HearingGlass  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I am probably referring to the "Multichannel Harmonic Additive Synthesis" video.
