Need practical ones. They have 2 million more features than the iPhone. People don't have time to come out of Instagram, yt, or TikTok, so when they are using these million features. ?
Android already has some of these features, the one for scores for instances you can just like your favourite team on google and have the notification with live score appear on your screen whenever your team plays
OK. There's android's *built in* features: 1. Macsafe: - 2. Continuity camera - plug your USB cable > notification bar > change usb options > webcam 3. Live activities - Android doesn't have a widget like iPhone, but Android has a "news" section. It can be accessed by simply swiping left once while on the home screen (and in addition, Google sends the most important news for you as a notification) 4. Namedrop - Android has had this feature for 13 years and it's called "android beam" 5. Software update - IOS is exclusive to apple, it is possible for all apple phones to receive the update at the same time. But unlike apple, android is compatible with dozens of devices and is still used in many devices. That is, you have more options on the Android side. In addition, Android devices also receive updates approximately simultaneously (android also promises 7 years of update support to android users) ** In addition, android has many functions such as developer options, multitasking and highly customizable home screen etc. ** By the way, I don't hate iphone, it's just that android is more suitable for daily use and more user friendly for me
iOS also has developer options. They don’t appear for normal users tho, you have to connect your device to Xcode (and compile and run an app?) iOS home screen is decently customisable, but it could be better. I like that widgets and icons don’t look out of place and are consistent and don’t cause an eyesore because of the design language inconsistency, something I’ve encountered with Android Also Android Beam is very old and deprecated completely in Android 14. Note: don’t take it as an attack on you personally or any Android user. It’s just an observation I’ve made. I appreciate every constructive comment, Android user or Apple user
1. Macsafe lmao 2. Continuity camera - while you can use your cable to use the camera as a webcam, the way apple has done it is just a lot more seamless. You only need your device to be nearby and then it's usable. This is something you will notice a lot with many of the "apple only" features. While you have alternatives on android, many of them are not as smooth to use on android as they are on iOS. 3. Live activities - It's basically a lock screen widget, nothing special. However it is not comparable to google news section on android, that place sucks. That is always the first thing I turn off when I get a new phone. 4. Namedrop - Android Beam is not the same as namedrop. Not only is android beam discontinued, it was a general data transferring feature, its successor "Nearby Share" is still just a data transferring feature, it's equivalent is airdrop, not namedrop. Yes you can share contact information through it, just like you can with airdrop, but the point with namedrop, was making it super simple to share contact information ONLY, nothing else. You don't need to tell your phone "I now want to share contact information", you just tap two phones together and you're done. 5. Software updates - You just explained why iOS devices have an advantage, congratulations. The small pool of devices, along with the software and hardware being made by the same company is why apple has such an advantage. However this time when you are saying "android", you're actually just talking about "google pixel" only. All android devices does not get 7 years of support, but the new pixel phones promise 7 years of support. That is a MASSIVE difference.
@@tdrg_ yeah but in android you don't have to use any software you can easily change your developer options. And I still think that android home screen is more customizable because you know you're free to change icons locations and there're a lot of widgets that helps a lot Yeah, android beam is old but that crazy right? You could do it even with the technology of the time but Apple should be congratulated on this because that can be useful And thank you for your note really appreciate that🤝
Speaking of software updates, Samsung and Google are starting to catch up. But they doesn’t promise the update would be released on older phones simultaneously as the new one, sometimes for 6 damn months just for an update released to older devices.

If you bring 2 NFC enabled Android phones and touch them back to back, the displayed content on one device is shared to the other. This features has been present in Androids way before iPhones did. As for the other one, it's exclusive to Google devices right now. As soon as a new version of Android comes out, all supported Pixel devices get the update at the exact same time. Before Pixel, Nexus used to have this too.

I would love to have the MagSafe purely for the gym. Being able to stick my phone on any one of the hundred metal surfaces (specifically on cables) would be really nice.
That's true, but apparently Android just doesn't seem to do it seamlessly unlike iPhone. I don't even know why that's a thing to look out for, as long as it's doing its thing, then everything good.
In other words, these are the features that Android may have had for a long time ago but Apple adopted then added animations to them and called "revolutionary"

Just a little correction: In Motorola, you can have continuity camera by wireless conection. It is called “Ready for”, which also will allow you to drop archives by wifi in any other of your android or Windows devices, and it will even allow you to share screens. Also, you can have magsafe by buying a case with magnets compatibility, also they are cheap. Edit: I discovered an app called "Kde connect" that does the same as "Ready for" but in every phone other than Moto's. And actually it has another function that allows you to use your phone as a mouse or keyboard for your PC/Laptop.
having an integrated magsafe and buying a case with magnet conpatibility is a completely two different things. and i say this because i have both iphone and samsung.
Honestly, live activities and those sharing thing (not for sharing contacts, but to make more quicker data share) are the most needed. Mag safe is available just by buying a case, Webcam is just a one-time feature. And if you have a normal android, you'll get updates as quickly as they're released
quicker data share can be done with usb c and samsung has NFC which works the same way and has had it for a decade. you just have to turn most of these features on as theyre not on by default. samsung even has power sharing to another device through your phone.
I think that the most obvious is AirDrop and iCloud sync. I tried switching to Android and used one (Galaxy S21) for almost three years and could never get used to how slow it syncs. Yes, you need to have everything Apple for the best experience, but now I see that as an advantage. Android users don’t like it because they think they’re more free without a set ecosystem, but in the end it is less convenient to have more options but none of them is smooth and perfect.
Apple can do it easily (one company, one OS, limited amount of devices to update), Android can't (because tons of different phones with different specs from several manufacturers, and the fact Android is open source as well so manufacturers add their own things to updates for their devices). It's literally impossible to update all Androids at once
@@ZhadTheRadI think the issue isn’t “oh why can’t Google send updates to every android at the same time” and more “why can’t Samsung send their updates to all S series phones at the same time”
The thing is almost any ios software feature can be added to android as an app. Even yhat little popup for Airpods which i have on my pixel. Also Pixels have continuity camera basically
More cameras doesn't equal a better device and stylus is a special feature only offered by some phones in Samsung lineup so it's not fair to have stylus as a thing that all androids have
Worst thing on iPhone and they still haven’t fixed is that when you are on a call, and you tap on the screen when it was off, it doesn’t show you the notifications you have received, instead they think it’s a good idea to display a phone call with a full screen when you don’t need 80% of the screen for just a phone call

OK. There's android's *built in* features:
1. Macsafe: -
2. Continuity camera - plug your USB cable > notification bar > change usb options > webcam
3. Live activities - Android doesn't have a widget like iPhone, but Android has a "news" section. It can be accessed by simply swiping left once while on the home screen (and in addition, Google sends the most important news for you as a notification)
4. Namedrop - Android has had this feature for 13 years and it's called "android beam"
5. Software update - IOS is exclusive to apple, it is possible for all apple phones to receive the update at the same time. But unlike apple, android is compatible with dozens of devices and is still used in many devices. That is, you have more options on the Android side. In addition, Android devices also receive updates approximately simultaneously (android also promises 7 years of update support to android users)
** In addition, android has many functions such as developer options, multitasking and highly customizable home screen etc.
** By the way, I don't hate iphone, it's just that android is more suitable for daily use and more user friendly for me
iOS also has developer options. They don’t appear for normal users tho, you have to connect your device to Xcode (and compile and run an app?)
iOS home screen is decently customisable, but it could be better. I like that widgets and icons don’t look out of place and are consistent and don’t cause an eyesore because of the design language inconsistency, something I’ve encountered with Android
Also Android Beam is very old and deprecated completely in Android 14.
Note: don’t take it as an attack on you personally or any Android user. It’s just an observation I’ve made. I appreciate every constructive comment, Android user or Apple user
1. Macsafe lmao
And I still think that android home screen is more customizable because you know you're free to change icons locations and there're a lot of widgets that helps a lot

Before Pixel, Nexus used to have this too.

having an integrated magsafe and buying a case with magnet conpatibility is a completely two different things. and i say this because i have both iphone and samsung.
@@SteamedMomoxMotorola sucks now
Honestly, live activities and those sharing thing (not for sharing contacts, but to make more quicker data share) are the most needed.
Samsung has live activities and a better version of name drop called s beam
NFC, Droidcam, widgets Android lo tiene hace años XD
I think that the most obvious is AirDrop and iCloud sync. I tried switching to Android and used one (Galaxy S21) for almost three years and could never get used to how slow it syncs. Yes, you need to have everything Apple for the best experience, but now I see that as an advantage. Android users don’t like it because they think they’re more free without a set ecosystem, but in the end it is less convenient to have more options but none of them is smooth and perfect.
the level of sophistication of engineering required to drop an update to millions of devices with different specs it’s insane
No it's not?? And it's not millions of devices, it's like 20 at max
Apple can do it easily (one company, one OS, limited amount of devices to update), Android can't (because tons of different phones with different specs from several manufacturers, and the fact Android is open source as well so manufacturers add their own things to updates for their devices).
It's literally impossible to update all Androids at once
@@ZhadTheRadI think the issue isn’t “oh why can’t Google send updates to every android at the same time” and more “why can’t Samsung send their updates to all S series phones at the same time”
@@ZhadTheRadin Canada we usually have to wait for our phone carrier to push updates to android phones.
@@seanlacroix and in my country phones aren't carrier locked
The thing is almost any ios software feature can be added to android as an app. Even yhat little popup for Airpods which i have on my pixel. Also Pixels have continuity camera basically
I thought it does that by default, the pop up. Granted mine did it once but I am using somewhat older but still good, working, bt devices.
I had the thing with real time events like yesterday the Netherlands and France played at Euro and I watched the score.
Tell me you never used an android without telling me you never used an android 😂
Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor
Quad cameras
Built in stylus
Left the chat😂😂
More cameras doesn't equal a better device and stylus is a special feature only offered by some phones in Samsung lineup so it's not fair to have stylus as a thing that all androids have
who needs an Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor you have face id, apple has basicly the same, and no one needs or uses a pen on a phone
Nobody uses a stylus, TrueDepth Face ID is advances and more convenient, Quad cameras aren’t needed. Three cameras are enough.
Um, iPhones dont have that
@@robertzoufoodyes, that’s the whole point
The loop almost made me watch it twice lol 😂
Hahaha had a bit of fun with the loop
Worst thing on iPhone and they still haven’t fixed is that when you are on a call, and you tap on the screen when it was off, it doesn’t show you the notifications you have received, instead they think it’s a good idea to display a phone call with a full screen when you don’t need 80% of the screen for just a phone call
The score from your favorite sporting event, it’s available on Android though
Name drop is Simply new Android Beam that got discontinued,Android has magsafe aslo
Who knew this video was a loop👀
Samsung 2012 had something like namedrop
1. Magsafe is possible on android based smartphones with cases
2. Continuity camera is possible with samsung and windows pcs
Also in Honor and Huawei phones
