      @@WoodworkingWithWes it would be interesting to hear about your background. How you started? What's the main driver behind your passion for the craft? Things you've learned. As an aspiring cabinet maker it's great to hear (and see) folks such as yourself teaching in 2020.

    Thank you for this video. I like the way you do things. What type of wood is the decorative panel made out of? The darker color wood.

    Nice job there Wes...
    I would have thought that last (shaker style?) front panel would have been fixed in such a way as to be removable for service etc.. ?? 🤔
    Either way, nice work, whats the paint finish ??
    😎👍☘🙄

      I have found that any appliance service is done by removing the filter panels. As far as the paint finish, you can refer to my CZcams video on standard cabinet finishes. On this job the color was Alabaster White. Thank you very much for visiting...I also appreciate your feedback.

      Hi Craig....I am just provided measurements but don't deal directly with the appliance itself when I do the build. Thanks for visiting.

      I use Famowood wood filler available on Amazon. Thanks for watching, Wes

    How did you attach the insert?

    • @WoodworkingWithWes
      @WoodworkingWithWes  Před 3 lety

      Actually the insert comes with its own mounting brackets. Thanks for visiting.

      Thanks for the response. I believe by accident I purchased the same hood. My hood came with L brackets only. I can’t see a way of using those brackets. If you came up with a good solution I would like to see it so I don’t have to reinvent the method.

    You didn't show how you attached the insert to the cabinet! Seems like a glaring omission.

      I was just showing construction of the hood but will be sure next time to include more info. Thanks for you comment. Wes

      Does the appliance slide in from the bottom or down through the top to rest on the lip?

      Can you comment on how you attached the vent to the cover?
