Got a golden carrot off the second rent cycle, from there my entire run just perfectly mimicked Tyler’s, getting shedding season from an item capsule and having to keep it in check with sunglasses.
Never did get that lint roller, but the run is so strong that you just don’t need it

I get the feeling that LBAL speedruns, if they start officially, would have rules about default spin speed, maybe different categories for instant speed
Yeah because with more animation speed people would need to think is their build has too many animations so it gives more strategy
I'm doubtful speedruns would do that. Lol
@@kwagar9810 the strategy would be different for slow speed just because you have to take into account the items having animations, I think there would definitely do categories like 1x and Instant, but probably not in between.

I think these are most likely the default rules. Maybe they'll have a turbo category with 2x, 4x and instant spin.
lbl speedruns would be horrible since the game is literally entirely based off of rng

With no empty’s showing up if you have 20 symbols then even with devils deal then your symbols would still fill the board
I don't think empties are programmed to not show up if there's other symbols, rather there are 20 slots shown, and you start with 15 empties + 5 symbols (or 13+7 with duds), so every symbol is always shown until you have more than can fit.
I wish I could go back to a much simpler time of getting top comments on turmoil videos

FYI even before this update you could go into launch options and speed up the entire everything in the game, including the animations, by whatever multiplier you wished.

It'd be interesting to see some kind of risk/reward deal with it, like each spin (day of christmas) it spawns a random common symbol, if it makes it to day 12 without being destroyed it gives a rare

The spin/animation speed is amazing, now long runs won’t take 2 minutes every spin
new update definitely makes things easier, honestly i think that's pretty nice. only issue is my game crashes whenever i try to change spin/animation speed outside of the title menu lol. that'll probably be fixed soon though

Amethyst with Dames are OP, got super lucky ended the game with 2 amethyst and 2 dames, with arrows. Then took to infinite, stacked up to 8 amethyst, 6 dame, 2 golden arrow, 2 silver arrow, and 2 wild cards.
That was something apq has been talking about a lot
Rabbits were already insane. Source: the first time I ever won this game was with rabbits.
If you could get them working with a bit of luck on getting moons whilst using tediums to keep grabbing a few rabbits they were incredibly strong, potentially stronger than flower and sun builds I believe
They should make toddlers able to eat bar of soap, but if they do, they get destroyed themselves

Aliensrock you should try for dame's and Amethyst I have a run with over a billion coins rn because of Amethyst its broken with dames. Probably still good with out telescope tho as I got an early telescope and thats how I got so much money. Or farmers and pear its probably have the same results since pear like the same thing as Amethyst.
Can confirm. I'm doing a chef-farmer-pear run and it's incredibly broken. Tbf I also have telescope but even on non-telescope rounds I'm getting stupidly high numbers that could easily carry endless even without telescope.

First run with the new update and I got lucky carrot and then sunglasses basically setting up the run to win. That then combined with an eldrige creature and a geologist got me to rent 5000 where I started getting bored

I do not understand why they buffed rabbits of all things - they were already THE most overpowered endless symbol, what's the point of making them even better?
Overall the balance didn't really do it for me this update, changing how empties work wasn't necessary, and I wonder if they remembered Devils Deal exists, because without writing an exception for it it has no drawbacks now.
The rest of the buffs all belong in one of two "why?" Categories
There's Shatterrd mirror "why?" - 4 more coins every 7 spins are still absolutely worthless
And then there's Beehive's "why?" Why remove a drawback that was balancing this item?
The qol changes are great tho

I stand by my idea that bee hives should have remained the same as before, but they should have added an item to the game that prevents bees from spawning from the beehive
That would be way too specific of an item
I think bees should buff the hive or vice versa, but I'll definitely take them removing the bee spawn, all they did was clutter your board and ruin whatever synergies you were attempting to make, thus your runs

Otherwise the beehive is too powerful of an item, but clearly the dev does not really care about synergies beeing too strong, considering the flower build still exists, geologist, the fact that the strongest symbol in the game was buffed this update etc

@@princeofhyrule2205 I think it would be cooler if the bee hive didn’t produce bees but it produced honey on a timer and lowered the timer by an extra round if it were next to a bee.
