It's so weird for me to see this animatic finally finished!
I started it well over a year ago and totally lost track of time, chipping away at it slowly over the months. I'm not sure how obvious it is to other people but to me at least I can really tell the difference between the newer and older frames. Its weird, I feel like my art has changed a lot this past year but despite running an art channel that I haven't really gotten to show off what my art truly looks like? I'm so used to bouncing back and forth between old and new assets, drawing in distinctly different styles for super specific purposes- it's a little surreal I guess?
All this to say, I'm glad this animatic is done but I'm really excited to start on the next one! 2023 if at all possible I'd like to post a lot more often but I'd also really like to feel like what I'm putting out reflects where I am in my art in that moment instead of the hodge-podge of old and new styles I've been putting out lately.

It's awesome to see what you can really do and where you're potentially heading. It might not count for much but I'm impressed. Idk It's good to see someone making their dream happen despite all of the everything it takes going through.

I’m not sure if I’m interpreting it correctly, but I really love the idea of Umi whistling when it’s next to Hokoto to guide her or just let her know that it’s there (if that’s what the little music notes beside it whenever it appeared were supposed to mean), I think it’s super cute and creative! Also just the visual of Hokoto being able to “see” suddenly when she touches someone or something is really beautifully done in this 💕
Neneko isn't apart of the "Divine destiny" party but she sure as hell makes it that way

I love her little companion briefly acting as a bit of a seeing eye animal! Very cute and clever~
Two things:
1. I'm loving that we're getting these animatic intros as if it's in all of the character's perspectives, first it was Yiu's POV now it's Hokoto's
2. Why am I laughing over Amzumi choking out Emi in the background!? XD

Its amazing how all this started as just redesigning old oc's and now the world is so much bigger, its becoming its own show, and these animatics paying homage to other magical girl anime, AHHH IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!! It's so inspiring and I cannot wait for what is to come

I love the way Hokoto’s blindness is represented by the black backgrounds with the occasional out lines of people, it’s so artsy.
I adore how you managed to capture the sheer feeling of elation in Neneko when she sees Hokoto cooking-since an earlier scene implies that Hokoto hasn't been taking the best care of herself since the accident. It shows so much of their relationship in so few frames-you and your team truly understand to "show, don't tell"

The fluidity and poses are gorgeous throughout- this whole animatic is absolutely gorgeous and really fun!
June. JUNE. I cannot BEGIN to describe how overwhelmingly happy this made me. Hokuto and Azumi are my favorites, and this is PHENOMENAL. I'm going to rewatch several more times, because the art is just so AMAZING! This really emphasizes how much Hokuto's interactions with others means, and how they can affect her ( from what i interpreted).
I love that she may have a lil crush on Emi too ;) But ohmigosh the transformation, your timing and editing, the outfits, using one of my fav magical girl and in general anime openings, the interactions between the main cast at the end, the difference of her being in a world of darkness at the start to the current story where her friends fill her life with light, JUNE MY FRIGGIN HEART FAM

Given how little Yu is in this animatic I wonder what her relationship dynamic with Hokoto is
ALSO AZUMI JUST BARGING THRO THE DOOR WHILE CHOKING EMI IS AMAZING!!! And the fact Hokoto doesn’t even bat a blind a to it is amazing
I loved how she was dipping her foot into the water. It’s symbolic of her anxiety to live life, but slowly progressing. And it’s also and homage to Helen Keller. A woman who was both blind and deaf, and used touch to learn. One of her most famous stories was when she was first exposed to water. And lastly, water is blue. Hokoto is blue. It just makes sense.
this is absolutely adorable - i love every second of it!!!!! i love the bits where it’s completely black with only hokoto on screen until someone bumps into her - fantastic attention to detail!!!!
First of all, WOW THIS CAME OUT SO GOOD! Second, I really do appreciate and love how you write Hokoto. I’m not blind, but I do have disabilities that make my life harder and makes me feel badly about myself. But seeing how you write Hokoto to learn to love herself for being her despite her disabilities really makes just makes me cry of happiness. It’s something I want to be able to apply to myself. Hokoto is such a amazing character with a very though through story and I really love where you are going with her and the rest of the cast June!! Amazing work as always!!
I LOOOOOVE how this animatic portrays her blindness! Just the detail of things not appearing until hokoto knows they're there, either by touch or an "audio" cue! It's just so delicious I'm eating it all up

Im a near 40 year old guy, but some of my fondest memories are getting up early before school...maybe... 3th grade (can't really remember now getting too old) to watch Sailor Moon and Beast wars. Anyway I love the memories watching this brought up. Thank you for all of your amazing work.

I also really love how when it's from Hokoto's perspective it's black and when she's in contact or hears someone it's white and vibrates! Love that detail to her character.

I always get so happy for PRISM content! And as a tiny animator, I love these animatics so much. Especially those details where she can "see" and her life is filled with light when she’s with her friends. These animatics make me wanna work harder to finish my own a bit faster 😅 Great job! Anyone else get the vibe from the animatic that her prism is like her eyes and allows her to "see" in a sense? I might be totally wrong but if I'm not, it would be really cute!
I don't think it's allowing her to see, it seems to be guiding her through sound cues, i watched it closely and it seems to utter a musical tone every time it moves to allow her to follow it

Hokoto is easily my favourite. I love the shy but want to improve and actually achieve that goal and you end up wanting to give them all the hugs and congrats and candy and literally give all personal possessions to them....yeah I really love Hokoto

I don't think an animatic has ever made me so emotional before, I feel like I just watched an entire movie. This, in a word, was stunning
I just realized her little animal guy was singing so that she could follow it, I’M GOING TO CRY.
This gives me hope that every main character is going to have one of these and that's so cool! I know that's a lots of work but I'm sure the wait is going to be worth it like this one!

I absolutely fucking adore this- the way that when she is like around other people her eyes are scratched out, and I interpret that as once she has her prism she can be more than just the blind girl and I feel like that’s so powerful, amazing once again June
OMG that is SO CUTE I can see Hokoto's lil animal companion maybe act as a kind of guide animal for her blindness or maybe even an emotional support animal (Though her friends seem to already be filling the emotional support role fantastically)
not gonna lie the end right there almost made me ugly cry- not only is this such a beautiful character show but............. one of my best friends growing up had a blind-from-birth mother and she made the BEST mac n cheese when i was 8 and it reminded me of her. the boxes in the background remind me of her bedroom she was an avid reader and just had stacks and stacks of books in braille. braille books are huge btw and one regular novel would often have to be in two or three volumes because of the thickness of the paper used for it. thanks for the nostalgia slap :')
