Oh you’ve been to Nottingham. I wonder if the pub was the oldest inn in England? Ye Old Trip to Jerusalem, it’s cut into the rocks underneath the castle
@@the_hermits_cave This was probably 30 years ago (gasp!) and the pub was on a corner across the street from the castle. My first husband was from Leicester so we visited Nottingham one day while visiting his cousin.
This was a lovely video. The countryside is beautiful, the architecture is amazing, and that gnarly tree was a gem! I can't get over how clean everything is there; the train station, the city streets; I'm jealous, lol. I'm glad you both got to enjoy each other. Thank you for sharing!

I LOVE the stone circle, and the town of Bakewell too. Lovely buildings on the other side of the water when you were crossing the bridge. The beautiful twisty tree & the crystal clear water .. sorry, it's the only time I can drool over these things. Suburban Sydney is fugly, it's the opposite of where I would choose to live. Lifetime stuck here though & too late now. Thankyou for taking us along, as always 💚💜
