Hey! I noticed that there weren't many covers of the final piece of music from the Miraculous Ladybug Origins episode, where Adrien and Marinette first become friends. So, I wrote some sheets and threw together this performance in the hopes that we'll see some more covers of this beautiful track.
I wasn't sure what the name of Noam Kaniel & Jeremy Zag's composition was, but I saw a piano cover on youtube of this song and thought the title they gave for this piece fit perfectly. So here it is: the unofficial soundtrack for the "Umbrella scene", sans dialogue. Feel free to use in fandubs, AMVs or whatever--but please credit this video if you end up using this music in your own projects.

Listening to this song makes me want drama in their lives... What if there is a tough akuma fight and Chat Noir takes a big hit for Ladybug, causing him to detransform in her arms. It starts raining and Ladybug is sitting there stunned as this song plays, while she begins to go over all of the moments she and Chat Noir/Adrien had in her mind. Plagg snaps her out of her stupor and she defeats the akuma, then scoops Adrien's unconscious form up in her arms and takes him up to the Eiffel Tower. He finally wakes up and they have a heart-to-heart, ending in Marinette revealing herself.

Isn't it amazing how just music on it's own can make a person feel so many emotions..? It's like it's speaking for itself. Like you can feel what's going on and what emotions are being conveyed without even seeing a scene with it. Music can tell a story on it's own, That's what I love about it...

I had the chance to meet Thomas Astruc once at the Japan Expo, and one of the question I asked him was : "Why don't you use more music in the show ? Like in the umbrella scene it was so amazing !" I was a bit shocked by his answer : "yeah right ? It's because we can't. It's not up to us to decide this unfortunatly. Of course we'd like to have a say in the way the music is managed, but it is not the case and the umbrella scene was actually one of the few that we had the right to." (Or something like this I don't remember his exact words but you got the idea). Maybe we should launch a petition ? (I think he said that us fan could do something about it but I'm not 100% sure to be honest). It just saddened me, honestly.

Although Adrien only sees Marinette as a friend, he probably doesnât realize heâs falling for her slowly. Hes been stuck in his own house ever since his mother passed, and he probably doesnât even know what it feels like to have a crush. And everyone hating on Marinette for having a âstalkerâ like personality in the orgin you could see she said âWoah why am I stammering?â like she had never had a crush before. Same with the NY special..she tried to get over him and some may not see it but she deserves him, sheâs done so much for him and they may not realize it but just like Wang Fu said, their made for eachother. Iâd love to see their friendship grow and maybe see it turn into something more. :)
