The reason the AWD system worked in that snow storm is because it is the Halidex AWD system that BMW bought a few years ago. GM inherited it when Saab bought the design for the Saab 9-3 AWD near the end of its life, and GM re-engineered it slightly to make it fit the Regal after Saab died. So maybe it is not going head to head with BMW, but it uses the almost exact same AWD system.
Good info, thanks! Did a great job in the bad weather for sure.
Great Review. I just ordered my 2015 Regal GS with the 6-Speed manual this past Friday. I was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks! It sounds like it will be worth the wait. I'm trading a 2012 Accord coupe with a 6-Speed. I will let you know how the Regal compares when I get it.
That is awesome Joe! I know you will love the GS. Post a comment on here, facebook, or HoagiesGarage.com - We would love to see pictures of your new arrival too!
Thanks for watching, have a great day!

Hey Joe, how was the ordering process? Unfortunately there are no 6spd manuals within 400 miles of where I live (NY)would like to test drive one first but I would be willing to place an order for the right price.

James Germano Hi James. Ordering process was fast and easy. I've dealt with this dealer before. They had no 6 speed either. I'm in FLA and there were none anywhere to be found. Told me it would be between 6 and 8 weeks. The last you can order would be about May 1st. They gave me a price for my Honda and told me what incentives are available at the time would be applied. I'm getting the red tint coat. I did not get the Driver Confidence 2 package but everything else. I guess somebody will be looking for me in the Buick....I don't see a Buick.

Hey Joe, thanks for the info and lots of luck with the new car. I found two 6pd manuals in about 400 mile radius, one being grey metallic which is the color I was looking for, hoping maybe a local dealer can get this for me so I don't have to drive to Ohio for it.
Also, just wondering what rims you went with, the stock 19s or the 20s?
Hey buddy I love your reviews dude , can you do a review on the Audi A6 ?
losmenace2rvls Thanks so much, If I could get one to film and spend some time with I would. Keep watching as I have some more coming out soon.
Enjoyed the review......thanks.......I was actually thinking of trading in my 10' Cobalt SS (same 2.0 turbo EcoTec, about 700lbs lighter though lol) towards a Regal GS but with 6 spd manual. I am a little disappointed though that AWD is only available with the Automatic. Did you happen to drive the 6pd manual GS by any chance?
We did not drive the 6spd... I am a big fan of the Turbo Cobalt SS Though - You would be upgraded to a much more refined vehicle, but that Cobalt is though to beat.
Glad you enjoyed the review, check around the dealerships so you can go test drive the 6 speed. Thanks for watching!

Nice review. I've learned is its not the 4 cyl as much as the transmission TCM tuning that is killing this cars performance
EGGINFOOLS Any good tunes out there that won't break the thing?
Trifecta is the option a lot of people choose. HP tuners makes software if one is inclined to do it themselves.
EGGINFOOLS Thanks!
