FIRST OF ALL PLEASE DO NOT MAKE BAD DU'A FOR MY PARENTS, BECAUSE I HAVE FORGIVEN THEM TO MAKE ALLAH HAPPY.
I can say those who don’t have abusive parents never understand the
pain , the loneliness, unhappiness a child bears in his/her soul. No
scholar I heard appropriately tells anything so that a child can get a
little peace in his mind. Always parents have the super priorities. If
they HAD told (scholars of islam) what islam says and how islam balances abusive parents
    they might have changed .
Listen, many children are abused in so many ways, and I have yet to see a
speaker addressing those issues. What about the rights of the children?
How can a parent expect love and respect when they HAVE never shown that
to their children in the first place. I don't understand WHY Allah will
punish THOSE people who were abused. I do not believe that. Allah is
just and fair. Please do not make Islam injustice. Allah is love and he
is the only one that knows what struggle we go through with evil
parents. Many young people turn to drugs. Some have mental illness and
all because of the torture they endured as children. I rather save my
sanity and get away from toxic people.I feel most speakers when speak on
this topic, they assume it is the
child who is wrong in a unhealthy child and parent relationship and EVERY
entire lecture is focused on counselling the child how he can be more
dutiful to their parents rather than looking at the flip side of the
coin and facing the reality of the bitter situation. If you can't tell
the parents that they are wrong and they should do better, stop giving
lectures on this topic as there and many more things to talk about. When
you criticize children even when they are abused, you are becoming a
part of the problem by boosting the moral of abusive parents and pushing
the children beyond the level of despair.
Abuse is abuse even if the parents do it. The parents who transgress and
abuse children will not only pay for it in the here after, but should
also spend their rest of the lives in prison for damaging their child
    psychologically.
Most of THE advices are very general and come from the assumption of
normal to very moderate parent-child relationships with children. They
hardly address situations of extreme abuse or even medium level of
abuse. It doesnt mean those children dont have to be good to their
parents either but the approach would be different and needs to be
handled carefully. I heard recently from a scholar that thats what
happens. Most of the time when giving fatwa they just assume its very
minor abuse or the child just doesnt want to listen to good practicing
parents and give very harmful advice. They are not trained to deal with
severe forms of parent abuse like major beating, sexual abuse etc. The
severe abuse cases are so rare they dont even go there at first when
they handle a case. It leaves those children in a terrible state and
feeling more alone because they keep trying to take the general advice
to be good to parents like everyone else but suffering even more until
burnout. Or sometimes they go to non-muslim authorities for help when
they have had enough. Muslim community needs to improve on this.
scholars dont know what children r going through unless they deal with it.
    IS RESPECT ONLY FOR PARENTS???
    DO ONLY PARENTS FEEL PAIN???
DON'T WE HAVE OUR OWN CHOICES???
I'M TIRED OF IT NOW, AND SUICIDAL. I TRIED TO COMMIT SUICIDE BUT FAILED BECAUSE OF ISLAM. NOW I DON'T TRY TO COMMIT SUICIDE BECAUSE OF ISLAM. AND PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ABUSIVE PARENTS MORE WEAPONS TO ABUSE US. THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR AND OUR PARENTS. EVEN VERBAL AND EMOTIONAL ABUSES CAN DO FAAAAAR MORE DAMAGE THEN SEXUAL ABUSE

Assalamu alaikum wrwrb. Firstly may Allah bless you and make things easy for you, and allow you to overcome any problems you have had with your parents.
The topics discussed about parents here are general and for more extreme circumstances the scholars have spoken about it and it requires a different answer, and each individuals situation is different. Depending on a person's situation the scholars will give fatwa to even move out from their parents and keep a distance etc. The podcast speaks about what is common, and it is not the default position that parents are oppressive and cause harm to their children. Speaking about specifics require the right people to speak about it, so do forgive us.
If you require assistance then please speak to an actual imam or scholar that you have available to you, they can help you with your specific situation. All we can do from our platform is giving general advice that may be of benefit. If there's anything that I can do for you please let me know, meanwhile you'll be in my du'as iA.
      May Allah love you!
      Your brother, Noor.

Asking an Imam??? YOU THINK I DID NOT ASK??? Honestly it is useless. EVEN a grand mufti told us that only sexual abuse is major and we should forget about other abuses, I am not going to tell his name. AND I AM SORRY IF I SAID ANYTHING BAD. I HAVE MENTAL PROBLEMS. AND MAYBE YOU KNOW the reason

Also I would like to give you an advice- do not bring up this type of issues, these are faaaar more sensitive than we think. I have seen people leaving islam and committing suicide because of abusive parents, I do not want to see anymore And they do not feel pain who are already dead. 34:47 this made me to unsubscribe your channel. Why do you choose this topic if you can not address this type of issues. He spoke like he knew the pain of being an abused child. I am sick of this type of words always trying to defend abusers. WE ARE THE VICTIMS SO WE KNOW HOW IT FEELS. NEVER EVER TRY TO SAY THOSE WORDS AGAIN. YOU HAVE BECOME A WEAPON FOR THE ABUSERS AND A PART OF THIS PROBLEM. I AM FEELING LIKE I HAVE FIRE ON MY HEAD. THANK YOU FOR HELPING CRIMINALS.
