Islam is the only religion that forces you to give out a yearly charity, and that’s the bare minimum. A bare minimum of 2.5% yearly. I give to fellow humans, but only because my Lord had ordered me to. To us, her helping her sister is the highest form of service she could receive because it is to please Allah (SWT). I’d rather you remind me to pray instead of reminding me of a work deadline. I’d rather you help me finish my Zakat rather than gifting me a thousand dollars. Subhanallah. Has Allah not created Jinnkind and Mankind for worship?

We don’t cherry pick in Islam. Allah told us to do acts of worship and within that He commanded us to help others. Helping others is an act of worship if your intentions are correct. We accept Islam wholly and do not speak down about aspects of it which are obligations.

To be a good Muslim you have to obey Allah’s commands. Allah commanded women to cover themselves. So yes, it does make these sisters and all Muslim women better Muslims when they cover.

The correct thing to say is “It is true that I am lacking in this aspect, so may Allah make me a better servant.” Sinning is understandable. No one expects you to be perfect. When does the problem become a disaster? When you try to justify disobedience when it comes to Allah’s decree. If your mother told you, “I need you to clean your room, take a shower, eat your breakfast, and be outside within AT MOST 30 MINUTES.” Does that mean that everything else is unimportant as long as you come out in 30 minutes? Of course not. It just means that this part is more important. ولله المثل الأعلى. And to Allah is the highest of examples. It's not a matter of “as long as I pray, I'm good.” The Prophet (SAW) had all his sins forgiven. Even the smallest of sins! And what did he say? As long as I pray and finish my mission I'm good? No…he said, أفلا أكون عبدا شكورا Shall I not be a thankful servant? Let me give you a piece of advice sister. Your good deeds are not going to do anything for you on the Day of Judgment. Not even the Prophet of Allah peace and blessings be upon him will enter paradise through his deeds. He will enter because of Allah’s mercy. What good do good deeds do? They make Allah love you so that He wants to give you His mercy. But how do you think Allah feels about you when you disregard His command to cover up? الله المستعان… I ask Allah the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious, the Most Forgiving, the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Earth, the Lord of Paradise, and the Lord of Hellfire. O Allah forgive our sins. O Allah guide us to the straight path. O Allah remind us of our sins and make us never forget them, so that we may use them as motivation to worship You better. O Allah give us from your bounty, for we are poor and You are our Provider. O Allah help my sisters with the hijab.
