Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails - Hitting the big jumpline and skills area

- Out at Cuyuna with Justin hittin' the big jumpline and skills area in this weeks video.
Cuyuna isn't just all flow trail, it also has a pretty cool skills area with a green trail, a pretty big jumpline and everything in between. All of which is conveniently located just off the main parking lot. It was super hot this day so having a lake right there to jump in after riding was also very convenient.
Had another great stay at Red Rider Resort. This was my second time up there camping in less than a month. I didn't do much filming as I've already done three videos covering all the trail there but hadn't done anything with the skills area yet so this was about all the filming I did there.
Although it was super hot the entire time there we still got plenty of riding in and had a great time. Having nice lakes to cool off in after riding was key though.
I was riding my Salsa Rustler and filming with a GoPro Hero 7 Black.

Love the footage around MN, instant subscription! Ever ridden at Memorial Park in Red Wing southeast of the metro area? They just reopened the downhill trail and have been putting in work on the other trails.
Andrew Gehn thanks bud! Yeah totally, Red Wing is badass. I went there right after the DH reopened. Need to get back there though. I actually lost all the footage from there because my external hard drive took a shit and didn’t have it backed up, oh well. 🤷🏻♂️

I was on this trail yesterday, the drop is super fun and rode it a few times - skipped the jumps and went back to the smaller ones. Nice work on the big jump line.

@@ridindirt The area is dry, the locals are begging for rain. Jumps looked to be in very good shape. In fact all the trails were in good shape, but dry.

You can jump. Wish for the landing not the take off. Jumping is super easy. It’s the landing that will make you carcass like road kill. Practice practice practice. But remember if you don’t rag doll every now and then your probably not pushing yourself. Say no to roadkill. Practice!!!!
the skills park is not the only 2 way trail. switchback back has a 2 way section

Justin Doubek haha thanks a bunch bud! Yeah the first two jumps are kinda hard to clear. If you get those clean you’re ripping into that 3rd and 4th though and those are the booters! A lot of fun 🤙🏻
