so glad this showed up in my feed. i’ve always wanted to hear him sing it live. this is one of my fav songs, the musical is a comfort for me for various reasons, i met ben last month and he’s the sweetest ever :(( i wish he performed a DEH song at a concert i’ve gone to
God ive seen deh live (not with ben but the guy i saw was awesome) but i feel like just screaming this with ben platt in an unmatched energy, ive been crying to this song for almost 3 years
I had tix to see DEH yesterday and ended up not going for several reasons. It's OK, I literally saw the show a month ago, so I said my "goodbye." But when I was debating whether or not to go to the last show, I thought, "I wonder if Ben will be there." My next thought was, "No way. He's on tour." Followed by, "I bet he does a DEH song at his concert that night." We were talking about it online and some people were like, "Doubt it." "Highly unlikely." And I'm so having a "told you so" moment right now. LOL! I know he doesn't do DEH songs in concert, but...How could he not? It was a really special night. Sad I wasn't there, but I get to see him and meet him next week! :)
I was wondering if he would do one but I really didn’t think he would so it was a nice surprise, I was able to see him in deh right before he announced he was leaving the show and I’m forever grateful for that, I am so happy that you get to see him next week, have you seen him live before?
@@maegan8326 I haven’t! I was supposed to go to his album signing in NY earlier this year, but I was recovering from the ‘Rona and didn’t make it. (I wasn’t still contagious or anything, but I was exhausted for like a month after.) I’m so excited for next week!!!
@@martijnycnah he certainly adopted these though and he couldnt be able to sing without doing them. he’s been away from stage evan for long enough now he doesn’t do them anymore

It was an amazing moment for sure, I saw him in deh in 2017 and it was one of my fave experiences of my life! He’s a treasure
I feel this is something he should do like every once in a while. Maybe like once or twice each tour or something

I was hoping he would sing it when he performed at MSG, but he didn't. I'm glad he sang it the day the show closed.
