Hii , I did my BBA from India and worked as an Event Manager in some Event Companies. Further I moved to UK and did my Masters in Luxury Brand Management, along with it I did one year internship in Tommy Hilfiger under the Merchandise section. As fashion companies increasingly digitize their operations and make use of data analytics for decision making, the need for professionals with a background in MIS has grown. Here are a few roles they could fill:
1. Data Analyst or Data Scientist: In a fashion company, this could involve analyzing sales data, predicting trends, or optimizing supply chains.
2. E-Commerce Specialist: Many fashion companies sell their products online. An MIS graduate could manage an e-commerce platform, analyze customer data to improve the shopping experience, or maintain the security of online transactions.
3. IT Project Manager: This role might involve overseeing the implementation of new software or systems, managing IT teams, or ensuring IT projects are completed on time and within budget.

Yes, absolutely, but I would recommend you to do the online courses from coursera that I have pinned in the comments. This will give employers a chance to see that you have some knowledge of the field. Take an interest in luxury market and do your own research and you should be good.
Show your interest and passion to work in this field in the job interviews and you should be good :)

Hi sir, i have high interest in luxury brands but i am science student currently doin 12th but i don't think science is made for me so how can i drop 12th and get into luxury brand, will dropping 12 can benefit me like I got no interest in science so yeah
I understand but can you change your subjects in 12th? I would say complete 12th grade in science and (if you can't change subjects) and then move to fashion and luxury UG degree programs. That would be a better path.

Hey Shirish! I hope you are doing good, I just saw your video and I was researching about this career option. I recently checked the dual degree programme in Masters in Brand and Luxury Management provided by Athena School of Business, Mumbai in tie up with Rennes School of Business, Paris. Can you please guide me if this course by this institution is worthy enough? I would be really grateful of your help regarding this.
I also checked this program....even had a talk with them on call....they are not asking for any entrance exam, neither CAT nor any other competitions. What they just need is our Graduation marks.
So, this is the same question. Getting such a high profile PG Degree (with such an ease). Is this worthy enough to pay for this ?
I took the webinar too. They really don't sound practical at all. Also only 96% chances of placement. Colleges and universities in india provide 100% placement and still only few get placement... That's the case in india... Imagine abroad and they said tuition fees in India is 13.5 lakhs while in rennes including rent expenses it'll be 11.5 lakhs .... It doesn't make any sense. How living and education is cheaper than that of Mumbai? They are not even giving proper information and only bragging about "getting to study in abroad".
They're not even being practical. And in webinar, it was said that 10,000 students from India went there but in pictures i only see like 10 students getting placement abroad. And they're only bragging about those 10.
And paid intern in india will only be of ₹10,000... What can anyone afford in 10,000?And in this economy 10,000 for one person isn't justifiable!
Also the main teaching will be in france, in india they'll just groom so that students will be presentable... Paying 13.5 lakhs to look presentable is no sensical. They talk about luxurious brands like Hermes, Gucci and Versace but check where students are actually getting employed. They see us as their customers and nothing else. And without proper guarantee and proper reasearch.... Don't apply!

Sp Jain offers a 6 months PGDM, there are others too like FAD Pune and pearl academy, Athena school of management all of them offers PGDM and only one university in banglore offers MBA in LBM

You can work after MBA. It's just LBM is more focused and lands you a direct job in the sector.
