    thanks for this very informative video! Really helpful!
    You think it would still be ideal for a long time digital marketer to switch into a more senior brand manager role? or should I start applying for a junior brand manager role first?

    Girl I love this video so much. I am looking for a Marketing Manager job now and as I was watching your video was thinking to even apply to a Brand Manager role too.
    Question? Do you have or think as a Brand Manager or even a Marketing Manager need a website? If so, what would I even put on there if most of the marketing jobs are more implementation strategies and writing documents. Most of my freelance jobs , I do social media and keep a few clients videos to show companies, but I am wanting to pivot into more of a Marketing or Brand role that deals more of the business side and not the creating content side.
    Any tips?

      This is quite tricky because I DO think having a personal brand is important, and everyone should have a website/portfolio showing their work and what value they bring.
      However, it will be difficult for you to reveal too much because most of the actual results you achieve for a client are usually confidential information. The best thing to do in this case is to have a separate "Clients" section where employers can see the clients and industries you're experienced in. Then you can have a "Why Work with Me" section where you show case studies of the results you've achieved (for example, taking engagement from X% to Y% in a certain period of time) without mentioning client names.

    Can someone start in Brand Management without a MBA? I find out about his role a year ago and would love to work in it. But I noticed that for the most part it takes a long time to get there or they require MBA

    • @rabeeahasan
      @rabeeahasan  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Absolutely. MBA is not a necessity. Some work experience of at least 1-2 years definitely helps. The best way to get in directly is to go for an Assistant Brand Management internship and then try to get a full-time offer based on that.

      @@rabeeahasan Thanks so much for the detailed video! How would you recommend to prepare for a Brand Manager internship? Some of the responsibilities include:
      Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
      Brainstorm creative campaign ideas and lead the development of campaigns and assets.
      Coordinate with marketing, creative, and design teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
      Monitor and evaluate competitive activities in the marketplace, as well as stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
      Partner closely with other teams to ensure successful communication of brand messages and standards.
      I am working on my masters in digital marketing and design but don't have a lot of experience and as a result confidence in the analytics/metrics side or creating those campaigns, is there a way I can learn this quickly? Do you recommend getting certified in GA4?
