Valverde reminds me so much of Di Maria from his final season. A player that slotted into CM just as well as in the forward line, ran his lungs off, and had skill and pace to take on his man. Brilliant player and a bargain for Madrid and their scouting team since he might also count as a homegrown player.
I remember watched Fede Valberde with the Real Madrid Juvenil A (under 18) of Guti, and with 17 years old you could see how good he is. In my opinion he is the modern midlefield.The Real Madrid scouting team, with Juni Calafat, is doing an amazing job during these last years; Valverde, Vinicius, Rodrigo, Camavinga, .... and you can add anothers good players playing now other teams like Kubo, Ibrahim. What a future!!!
