Their loss to Zidan 1998 was heartbreaking

And for the first time probably ever, everyone can agree on the fact that Benzema should win the ballondor

To be fair he didn't leave me any choice.
Yeh benzema was a bit stinky binky before. He did make lots of room for Ronaldo to work his magic but when it came to him, he was a little eh. After ronaldo left he’s been top 3 strikers in the world. This season he created a league of his own.

In this decade i agree (even though Lewa in 2020-2021 and HAALAND in 2023 was spectacular too). But to say in history it's a stretch. He stand out where barely anyone playing great (even Ronaldo and Messi who's suffering among their worst season ever since 2006). He's remind me of Joan Mir moto GP in 2020 season when they're barely any racer can compete with him.

I really admire him for his journey. When Cristiano was there he took a backseat but still was relevant. He learned from him and became an absolute legend for Real Madrid which is no small task. Him and Modric are iconic for the most iconic club in football. From an Olympiakos fan.

Wonder what would have become of Benzema if Christiano never arrived, and Benz had the opportunity to play for himself rather than being a playmaker for the best player the world has ever seen. I feel all those new young players have been a blessing to the madrid veterans. Having younger more energetic players around you working hard for you in every game is just special. Letting you focus on what you need to do. Plus running away from them and after them in training has to make your heart pump a bit more. Make you remember what you used to be like when you were younger and push you to be better. Push you to push harder for that dream you once had.

Such an awesome player because how unselfish he is. ALWAYS makes the right play. Never too much or too little with the ball. If it’s a bad angle to shoot he rarely wastes it with just blasting it but finds the right player for the tap in.
